Standing in shock Scorch begins to break down in tears as the voice of a man rings out into the air carried off by the wind. Running towards the voice crying. Not wanting to look back ever. When Scorch found John she jumped into his arms whimpering and was emediatly taken into the house to warm her up. After that day Scorch never acted the same, she didn't eat or drink and she seldemly slept. "Martha I'm worried about Scorch she has not acted like herself lately." Martha looked down at Scorch who laid lifeless on the floor at her feet Moonshine nudged her body but got no reaction. "Whats wrong?" Moonshine sat down next to her friend and tried her best to make her play. "Not today." Moonshine walked away feeling sad and lonely thinking of the times when it wasn't so sad around in the house. Each night Scorch would wake up and let out the howl of a heart broken wolf. One day while crying at the moon for the loss of a fellow wolf John stepped out of the bed room with a bottle in his hand and he began to walk towards Scorch. She looked up at him as he got closer repeating the words, "Stupid wolf", while swaying from side to side. There was a loud cry as Martha came out of the room stepping between the two of them saying ,"She's only a puppy, stop!." Standing up and moving back a little Scorch continued to watch when all of a sudden Martha hit the floor and turned towards her. "RUN!" Obeying the command Scorch began to run down the hall as fast as she could. "Get back over here!" She's didn't listen, she only felt fear as she continued down the hall. A light wind blew from in front of her and then a loud howl from outside grabbed her attention, and while she wasn't looking she tripped over one of her chew toys when she turned into the kitchen. John grabbed her by the tail and threw her into the the kitchen, then grabbing the back of her neck he forced her head into the sink and turned on the water. She panicked as it began to rise higher and higher above her nose. Taking a deep breath Scorch felt the water go above her head going into her ears muffins the sounds outside of the water. Thirty minutes had passed before she was unable to hold her breath any longer so she began to struggle using all the strength she had left to push against the sink. She felt her heart begin to stop as her lungs began to collapse and her hearing dimmed. A minute passed and then she hit the floor gasping for air as Moonshine dragged her behind the couch where she watched as Martha tried to get up only to be repeatedly punched in the face by John. "Scorch we have to help her." Standing up some Scorch snarled and balanced herself then she ran to Martha's aid. "Leave her alone!" Jumping at her owner she bit his throat allowing Martha to push him off and get away and as she crawled away to called the police. Without warning John grabbed Moonshine and threw her into the next room next jhe grabbed Scorch and threw her into a cage that sat in the living room. "Time for you to go." Closing the door to the cage he picked it up and ran out the door and through the cage into the passenger side of the truck in the front. After getting into the drivers seat he put his key in and turned it. After the truck came on he pulled out of the drive way and began to drive away leaving car tire tracks in the snow. They drove on making tight turns that could have ended both of their lives as they made their way to the forest that no one would dare enter in fear of the animals they lurked inside of the darkness of the shadows. "You're going to love your new home. Everyone there will just eat you up. Ha, Ha, Ha!" Scorch stayed low inside of the cage being sure to stay quiet but the thought of her dieing and how Moonshine and Martha would be left with that monster caused her to wine and caused her anger to rise. John made a mistake and put his finger into the cage and Scorch took that as an opertunity  and lunged out bitting off his finger. "WHY YOU LITTLE!" He began to punch the cage and throw it around making Scorch hit her head constantly on the metal bars and he only stopped when he saw blood spilling through the bars and onto the seat. "You deserve that, you'll learn soon enough who's the boss around here. I'm human and humans rule over you pathetic wolves. Ha, Ha,Ha!"
