Jasper at Goode College

lX The Dream...

When we finally arrived back at Annabeth's and mines shared dorm it was 7 o'clock. Me, Jason, and Leo had all agreed we deserved a nights rest before we came up with a way to tell the other 4 of our 'gang' without them believing we are just playing with them.

When I entered mine and Annabeth's shared dorm Annabeth wasn't home. I decided to sit and read for awhile so turning to the shelf I decided on Divergent. I've read it millions of times by now but it has always been my favorite book when I'm in a sticky situation in my life.

I was on page 126 when Annabeth came through the door.
She was tiptoeing around, I'm not sure she is aware that I'm awake.

"Annabeth." I whisper

"Oh you're awake." She replies relieved.

"Where were you out at?" I question.

"Me and Perce just got back" she stated.
It was nice to know that Jason was at least in the same boat as me, Percy must just be arriving at Jason and his Dorm now.

"Ooooooh how was that." I teased

Annabeth sighed. "We've had better dates."

"Really what happened?"

"We went out to a public-" She emphasized the word public.
"- dinner and guess who happened to be there, alone? Rachel. She insisted she was dumped and left all by herself, that someone was a no show. Percy being the nice person he is, let her sit with us, he doesn't think she's that bad. Percy is so oblivious to girls staring at him googly-eyed. She sat right between us and gave him little taps all night long!! I stormed out in the last hour, I can't take that chick she makes me want to slap her so hard!!"

Annabeth stood up but I managed to coach her back down. She was getting way too upset. Although I have to agree with her, Rachel is an idiot.

"Annabeth you are an idiot to even think for a second someone could get between you and Percy. This is a ship that the gods of Olympus put together! I'm willing to bet they are screaming Percabeth right now!!" 

"Perca- what?!"  Questioned Annabeth.

"Never mind just something Leo and I made up."

"Tell me..."

"Ummm it's your ship name, Percy and Annabeth, Percabeth."

"Wow you guys don't have anything else to talk about?" Annabeth was grinning although she attempted hiding it, it didn't quite work.

"Sure we do."

I was quickly reminded of what I was going to have to tell Annabeth in the morning with Jason and Leo.

"I'm going to bed." I stated.

As I got up to put my book on the shelf Annabeth asked what I was reading I showed her the cover of the book, she knew my reasoning for choosing to read this book.
"Piper what's wrong, what are you not telling me?"

"It's nothing we can talk at lunch tomorrow."

I climbed under the covers and as soon as my head hit the pillow I was fast asleep.

"Piper McLean." Boomed a voice.
"Yes"
"Come to me."
I was positioned in the middle of a stone hallway, wait, I realized. It isn't stone. These are the halls in Goode, covered in dirt.
Water was dripping from the roof. It smelt like sewage water.

Big winds that almost sent me flying forwards were pulling me towards the voice. I turned the opposite direction and began to run, my progress was poor my feet hadn't moved an inch from where I had began.
"You cannot escape silly demigod. Your struggle is useless. You will soon run out of energy."
I knew the voice was right but I wouldn't give in.
Something grabbed me a pulled me off of the ground. I was determined not to scream I wouldn't give it the satisfaction.
I turned to face my attacker when the dream shifted.
I was sitting in a dorm with Jason and Percy.
Percy was leaving the room and it was just me and Jason.
"Where's Leo?"
"Hiding."
"From what?" I question Jason.
"You will see. Best we leave now."
"Where are we going?"
Jason didn't answer. He just started to walk. I followed.
He led me through a door and up a bunch of stairs. We were on the roof of Goode College. I twisted and turned searching but Jason disappeared.
The same winds began to blow I heard Jason scream.
"Help!"
Venti, the same monster that had attacked Bay was holding Jason by the throat. A squeak escaped my mouth.
The Venti smiled and clenched Jason harder. I knew what to do. The voice had told me inside of my thoughts.
"It's me you want let him go and take me instead." The venti smiled and began to put down Jason. I willingly walked to the venti and let him pick me up instead.
"Piper No!"

The next morning Annabeth was up way before me. I was rolling around in bed while she was getting ready for another day. I dragged myself out of bed and poured a pack of instant oatmeal into a bowl.
Grabbing the kettle I set it on the stove to boil water. Then I went to sit at the island.

"How did you sleep?" I yawned.

"Great!" Annabeth smiled.

"How about you? You look exhausted."

"I had a rough night" I replied remembering my dream. 
All I knew is that something wanted me, something windy, and it knew how to get to me. I knew what to do.

I finished breakfast in a flash, in order to talk to Jason in time. I muttered my goodbyes to Annabeth and raced out the door. I ran down the hall and to the left where the boys dorms were I raced to their room and knocked on the door until someone opened it. Fortunately it had been Jason. I walked right in and was taken aback by how opposite the sides of the rooms were. One, was tidy and neat the other however, had clothes strewn across the floor and was a mess. Jason's side versus Percy's.

"Piper?" Jason exclaimed.
I allowed myself a breath.
"Listen." I began.

Hi! Just got back from vacation! Hope you enjoyed the new chapter!! If updates are slow coming up my broken arm is to blame. It's hard to type with just your left hand. 😕  I am curious to know if more people like Jasper or Jiper. Leave your vote in the comments.
