The next morning I wake up to the annoying sound of an alarm. Oh, right today is a work day.
I tiredly pull myself off the couch to go find the source of the alarm, I have no idea where my phone is hidden. Maybe I accidentally baked it into my cookies and it's now inside my stomach or maybe it's in the kitchen where I left it.
Once the annoying ringing has stopped, I trudge upstairs to get ready for work. I never did like mornings. Why would anyone want to get up early just to get more stuff done, I would rather stay up late and do that. There are fewer distractions.
Once I'm showered and presentable for work, head out to get a coffee before work. Not surprisingly I see Clara ordering her usual. Once she sees me, she smiles and walks over to me. "I thought I'd have lost you to Josh" She jokes about the amount of time that I've spent with them in the last few days. I smile and grab my coffee before following her off to the shop.
"You excited for the concert?" Clara asks after taking a sip of her coffee. I nod and do the same. "I can't believe that we're going to dinner with them before the show, it almost doesn't seem real,"
She says. The concert is still a few weeks away and Clara is already getting over excited, maybe it's because I've spent more time with the guys and I'm slightly over the fangirl stage of it. But then I'm kind of excited to see Josh again. Even though it still has only been a day or so since they left L.A. It's just not the same without them here.
We arrive at the shop about 20 minutes before open time. Clara usually organises the business stuff with restocking and ordering new albums in the morning while I tidy and pick up messes from the day before. Usually, just albums being out and in the wrong place, nothing really that interesting.
"Ready for another boring and easy day!" Clara yells as soon as the clock hits 8 o'clock. I smile and give her the thumbs up.
I grab our store headphones which most employees wear for sponsorship values and start on stocking the orders that arrived over the weekend. Surprisingly this week, there was at least 5 boxes, which is probably over 200 albums to sort.
This is going to be a long day, at least I might have Josh texting me to make it interesting. That's if he's not busy, he is in touring the world at the moment, he probably doesn't have time for a mute girl a few thousand miles away.
I don't know how I'm going to last these next few weeks without going insane.
