This is my first time writing an author's note, but aye, it's a different topic and cOmpletely irrelevant.
Thank you to everyone who read, voted and commented on Whispers in the Dark! I may not seem like it, but I really am extremely grateful to all of you. You guys are literally the best people on the planet <3
Special thanks go out to LogicalCabbage for spamming this book (I...guess. Is it something that's worthy of thanking? Welp spamming is quite worthy), HoennChessShipper for being a blubbering fangirl, Demoniscy for screaming to me about everything regarding this and mawile_xoxo for being my twinsie that was there to fangirl with me over Ryou and leave critiques on every chapter.
I still can't believe this is over, heh. I hope you've enjoyed this; all of this--all 40 chapters excluding the prologue and epilogue. I hope I've been able to paint Celeana, Ryou and Quinn's story in a well enough manner (and I hope that it's well enough to do Ryou justice).
Looking back, writing 112K words of my blood (????), sweat and tears out onto this canvas known as Wattpad has been really worthwhile, and this couldn't have been achieved without all of you.
This is the first book that I've really gotten into--the first book that I wrote where I could actually feel all the emotions I was throwing onto my Pages document.
I also want to thank Pheno (Phenomexx) for getting me into the the three main fandoms that have influenced this storyline as I went on; namely Madoka Magica, Tokyo Ghoul and Noragami. (Also Kagerou Project but yEah)
To those who want to see more of their story (idk this is a pretty solid conclusion already), I am planning a sequel. It's called Voices in the Light, and I'm still deciding the major plot points for it sooooo yeah. Please don't think of this as a cast-in-stone sequel for their future, but instead as an "alternate ending" to the book c:
(And I also apologise for any overly hopefully readers who thought that I would be nice and bring back Ryou in the epilogue.
I also apologise to Shinju for lying and saying that I changed the ending to something happier.)
With that off my chest, I have nothing more to say. Just...thank you.
