"Why were you crying?" I blurted out.
He wasn't paying attention so she looked back at me looking a bit startled. I was immediately embarrassed I had asked such a personal question.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked that." I replied when he didn't answer.
"It's cool," he said, I could tell there was something wrong although it wasn't my place to pry any further.
"So, Connor where are you from? You most definitely haven't lived here for more than a year," he asked.
"That obvious?" I hadn't thought it was too noticeable.
"Very, so where ARE you from?"
"Guess"
"Okay fine we'll play 20 questions, you first."
