"So shall we take it in wooden colour or just plain white?" We both stared at the closet in front of us. It was a tall one, with two doors. "I don't know Man, I kind of don't like any of the closets here, it's too modern", Chloe answered. Chloe thought it would be funny to call me Man from now on, so that became my nick-name already. "Yeah, to be honest I don't like it either, I was thinking of a more vintage look, and they clearly don't have that here!" We both had a very clear idea of what we wanted, and we couldn't find it here, in IKEA. "You know, I think we should give it up for now, and we'll go shopping tomorrow, we'll find a vintage store", Chloe said. "Great! Shall we go home then? Or are we gonna drink something somewhere?" Chloe laughed, "Aren't you tired after all that traveling?" Yeah I was, I was completely exhausted, but I didn't want to come over as boring. "Well, I am a little tired, but I don't want to bore you." "Oh Man please! I was fucking dead after coming all the way from Washington! I fully understand, and you're not boring at all, because I don't get along with dull people", she smiled, "let's go home."
I plopped down on my bed. Chloe had given me the honour to choose one of the beds. I chose the right one, it seemed more right. Get it. I'm funny. "Okay I'll be honest I'm really fucking tired." Chloe walked out the bathroom, wrapping a towel around her hair. She had been locked up in that roon for about an hour, showering and such. Typical girls. "Yeah I understand, you can go get some sleep, I shall be as silent as I can be!" I didn't want to sleep yet, I wanted to get to know Chloe better instead. "Nah, I can wait a little longer, I want to get to know you better actually." Chloe laughed, "Well okay, I want to get to know you too. So, what's your favourite colour?" Chloe asked with a straight face. Instead of laughing, I played along. "I think my favourite colour is green. Yours?" "My favourite colour is red." We looked at each other for a few seconds and then burst out laughing. "I don't even like red!" Chloe said inbetween her laughing. "And I don't even like green!"
After that laugh, we started talking for real. I found out that Chloe actually comes from a very rich family. She showed me pictures of her house and family. She had one sister and one brother, both already somewhere in their twenties. You could see that their daughter and sister was their pride, she was the most beautiful. That wasn't very weird, as I had never even seen someone as pretty as she. Her parents are business people, probably where they get all that money from. Their house was just... woah. Imagine your dreamhouse. Got it? Yeah that's what their house looks like. Like everybody's dreamhouse. "You know, I've never liked being rich. It was the reason I became popular at highschool. All my friends were fake actually, they only liked me for my swimming pool in my garden, my cinema room, and my brother. Yeah, my brother. Every girl in my school had a crush on him. Anyway, that's beside the point. I've always known I'm incredibly spoiled, but I didn't want to be. I wanted to be normal, so I could have genuine friends. I got straight A's at school, and I could have studied medicine or any of that. I chose not to, because my passion for theatre was to big not to do anything with it. My parents were dissapointed when I said i wanted to study theatre. They wanted me to become a doctor. I didn't give up, and in the end my parents accepted my decision. Also, I knew my sort of people would go to TheatreCollege. Weird people, but with a passion, like me." It was silent for a few seconds. "So what's your story?"
