Eljida, an afterlife kingdom, ruled by Princess Elzira. Eljida is the kingdom of good and free, for it is all white and crystals, jades, and diamonds are jewels that mean "good luck", "love", and "peace".
Zahlia was murdered by her...
I woken up to sound of knocking. I looked to my left, and saw Chris sound asleep. I got up to answer the door, that was until it opened by itself, revealing Akasha.
"Good. You are awake. Now, your ceremony begins in no less than 30 minutes from now. I will have the help bring you your ceremony attire. But until then, why don't you wake up your precious mortal? I'm sure he would want to attend your ceremony too." Akasha turned on her heels before walking away.
I closed the door back as I flicked my finger towards Chris, causing him to roll out of bed and fall onto the floor. "What the hell?!" He sat up and looked at me. "Zahlia, I'ma beat yo ass, man."
"Wake up. It's almost time for my ceremony."
"What that gotta do with me?"
"You have to be there. You're my companion."
He furrowed his eyebrows. "What?"
I chuckled. "You're like my date, or something. I killed you, so you have to accompany me at my ceremony."
"Oh. I guess then." Suddenly, a black dress appeared in the middle of the room which was what I guess my ceremony attire. It was joined by a pair of knee high boots that were black also. It was a pretty, but Gothic outfit.
"Okay, that is gonna have to get some getting used to." Chris pointed towards the dress.
"This outfit is so pretty!" I walked over to it as I touched the stitching on it. Chris just shook his head as he got up and went to the bathroom.
I smiled as I gave my attention back to the dress. "Here goes nothing." I sighed.

My hair was let down loose as it flowed down past my shoulders and moved with each movement I made. My dress looked perfect on me, and the shoes were great. My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on my door.
The door opened, and Elzira appeared from the other side of it. "Oh, h-hi, Elzira." I bowed to her slightly, for some reason.
"Hello, Zahlia. I just came to wish you luck. We could always use a good vampire in Eljida."
I made a confused face. "I never sai----"
She roughly gripped my wrist with her hand. It felt cold. "You will join Eljida, if it's the last thing that you do." Her eyes began to turn red and dark, and fangs began to pop out of her mouth. I was so scared.
"Yjb ealayk alaindimam li, w sawf taqae taht saytarati." She chanted as she stared into my eyes. I suddenly began to grow hypnotized as I stared back into her eyes with wide eyes.
"Sa'andam lakum w taqae taht saytaratik." The moment was interrupted by Akasha entering the room and waving her hand towards Elzira, breaking her hypnosis.
"I see you are up to your foolish ways again, sister. But you are too late." Elzira shot her a death glare with her now brown eyes. Akasha looked at me. "Zahlia, it is your time."
She came and grabbed my hand as she pulled me away from Elzira and led me out of the room. We walked down the spiral stairs, where Chris was waiting for me.
He took my hand away from Akasha as Akasha went to her position where she was supposed to be. Chris let go of my hand as he went and took a seat in the front row, along with the audience.
"Lie down, my child." Akasha spread her hands apart and over a board like platform. It looked like an ancient table. I sat up on it before laying down on the table platform.
Akasha held a silver cup filled with red liquid. It looked like blood. "Drink this." Akasha said handing it to me.
I looked at Chris before drinking it, instantly making me feel funny. I began to pant hard until I went black, and zoned out.

After Zahlia had fell under her first step of transformation, Akasha began to work her magic first, by cutting Zahlia's wrist with a blade.
Elzira stood at the spiral staircase with purple, jealous eyes as she looked at Akasha, then Zahlia, and finally to Chris. A smirk had crept on her face as the thought of Chris being her companion had gone through her mind. She felt that they had a stronger bond, even though they had never really talked before. She just linked onto him.
"Yatahawwal 'iilaa masas dima' alkhalid, li'ank qad sukraa dimmi w alssmm mmin almawt. Yjb ealayk 'an tuqaz min wijhat nazari al'iimlayiy, w yjb ealayk 'an tataghayar 'aydaan 'iilaa masas dima'. Bi'amr min eakkashat, rie, nifrutiti, almalik ramsis, 'iizis, w tawatt eankh amun....."
Suddenly, five golden colored and glowing balls came circling down next to Akasha. The five balls withheld the souls of the gods and goddesses Ra, Nefertiti, King Ramses, Isis, and Tutankhamen.
Chris began to grow worried for Zahlia, but he remained still. The five balls suddenly had a piece of each of them come off and enter Zahlia's cut wound. Akasha bit into her wrist deeply before letting her blood run into Zahlia's wound.
Zahlia's lifeless body suddenly began to rise into the air and golden and red beams began to glow out of her body. Zahlia's hair was no longer dirty blonde, for it was a golden brown color now. She was now pale, but still fair-skinned at the same time. Her teeth grew stronger as her fangs began to grow out from the bottom and top row of her teeth.
"Min qibal alssultat walqiadat min stt alalihat wal'iilhat, walmaluk w almalakat, nusikum 'ann yastayqiz!" Akasha finished.
Zahlia's body lowered itself back onto the table. Her eyes slowly opened as her vision faded in. Her eyes were no longer brown. They were glowing green, like Akasha's. Her hair was now long and curly. Chris sat as he just amired the new and improved Zahlia.

"Welcome to the vampire family, my new child." Akasha smiled at Zahlia.
