Chapter 13: Broken

Zahlia and Akasha tried their fastest to go warn Chris about Elzira, but they were way too late. Elzira had already gone to the Elders of the Afterlife committee, and presented Chris as her soon-to-be king.

Recently, the Elders had informed Elzira that a true Queen shall find her true King before her coronation. Their wedding would also be in the same ceremony.

The real Chris' mind was trapped somewhere else, and the Possessed Chris was all over Elzira, everywhere she had gone, he went. You would rarely see Chris without Elzira, or her without him.

Once Elzira's plan succeeds, she will be the most powerful sorceress in all of the Afterlife. Akasha's power would be no match for hers, but Zahlia's could possibly be compatible for it....

"Akasha, where could she have possibly taken him?!" I fretted. Chris was gone for a couple days now.

"I am not sure, Zahlia! My sister has never acted this way before. She appears to be far too drunk with power." Akasha paced back in forth in her study.

"Let's go to Eljida. At least we could go talk to someone."

Akasha's face lightened up. "The Elder Committee. She must have at least gone there. We shall try!"

"Where is it?"

"Follow me." Akasha took off with her fast vampire speed. Close your eyes, run, and imagine that you are flying. I suddenly heard her voice say.

I closed my eyes and ran, and soon enough, I was in Eljida with Akasha. "Whoa! That was cool!" I said.

"You'll get used to it." Akasha blankly said as she looked around. Suddenly, a girl crossed our path. She looked very pretty with her hair braided in a crown braid, and her big brown eyes.

"Oh, hi. I'm Mia." She spoke. (played by Karrueche Tran)

"Hi, I'm Zahlia."

"Nice to meet you." She looked at Akasha and smiled as she bowed slightly. "Akasha."

"Mia." Akasha smiled back at her.

"Mia, have you seen Elzira?" I asked her.

"Not yet, but possibly in a few minutes. Today is her coronation and wedding."

"Wedding?!" Akasha and I said at the same time. Akasha's response sounded calm, and mine was in alarm.

"Yeah. Elzira finally found her new king. He's cute, but something about him is off. It's like he's brain dead."

"Were his eyes red?" Akasha asked.

"They were as red as blood." Mia said.

"Elzira possessed him." I thought out loud.

"Where is the ceremony being held?" Akasha asked.

"In the Garden of Life." Mia answered.

Suddenly, we heard trumpets playing from a nearby distance. "Oh no! It's starting!" I exclaimed.

"Come! Let us go stop it!" Akasha said before taking off.

I looked at Mia. "Thank you, again, Mia." I said before going after Akasha.

Elzira gracefully stood as the head Elder held her crown. The wedding was to be performed first before her coronation, just so she could prove that her and Chris' marriage and love was real.
