Once I was settled into the guest room, which was surprisingly neat and quite nice, I started to unpack. At some point Ace came in to take my phone. He supposedly "knows a guy" who could get it fixed speedily. I grabbed the necessities, such as my toiletries, and put them on the bathroom counter. The walls and floor of the bathroom were tiled, my feet sticking to the floor as I entered the room. The bathroom counter was sleek and white, whereas the cupboards just below were a dark brown. My feet didn't stick as much as I made my way back into the main room, where the floors were a glossy wood instead of tile. The bed was queen-sized, the sheets and the pillows were white. A stark contrast to the dark shade of the wooden floor. A cream coloured rug, laid out beneath the bed. A few framed pictures, placed on the wall above the bed and a nightstand– topped with a lamp, each –on either side of the bed, too. On the opposite side of the bed, there was a glass topped desk against the wall. To the right of the desk, was a bean bag– angled so that the person who chose to sit in it can gaze out of the large window, to admire the view. Luckily, the window doubled as a sliding door, enabling whoever to step out onto the balcony, which consisted of a few chairs, a small table and a breathtaking view. I couldn't wait to wake up to it in the morning. Ace had informed me that the duvets and blankets are kept in one of the cupboards in the room. I decided to pull them out so that I didn't have to do that later when I would be dead-tired.

I placed a beige blanket on the bed and decided that that should be enough. I probably wouldn't be using it too much since the heat was so intense. I unpacked some of my essential clothing items, such as pajamas, dresses – dresses are such a godsend in the summer time – and undergarments.

I'll do the rest at some point. Hopefully soon, I promised myself.

I straightened up from my squat position and turned to face the door when I heard a soft knock.

Ace leaned leisurely against the doorframe. 'You hungry, Princesa?'

I glanced at the watch on my wrist. 5:55 PM.

'Yeah, actually. The time went by so fast.' I admitted.

'We could go out? My cooking skills aren't too advanced and I don't want to disappoint on your first day back in Portofino.' his blue eyes sparkled in the sunlight and his mouth formed a devilish smirk once again. 'But, I don't see how you could be disappointed when you have me gracing your day.'

I rolled my eyes at his arrogance. He was being polite until he stupidly smirked and opened his mouth, again. 'You're anything but graceful, Ace.'

I cracked a smile when he clutched the area above his heart in mock-hurt. 'But, yeah. Going out would be nice. I'd wanna go out and see my hometown again, y'know.' I admitted with a shrug.

His gaze faltered and his face altered into something I couldn't identify, as if what I said reminded him of an unpleasant memory. But, that was only for a moment. A beautiful moment when he had let his guard drop. His eyes slightly widened as if now aware that he was portraying his true emotions, and he composed himself, his smirk returning to his face and his cerulean eyes met mine again.

'I'll take you to La Grotta. It's one of my favorites and I think you'd like it. Me and Konstantin go there when we can.' he smiled nostalgically. 'Be ready in ten.' he said curtly and when he left, he closed the door behind him.

I sighed and headed over to the closet. I decided to wear a dress. Easy to slip on and would certainly help to keep me cool with this heat. The dress was tie dye, white at the top and eventually fading into a dark blue colour.

Soon before long, Ace knocked on my door. 'You decent?' he asked.

'Yeah. I'll be out just now.' I replied and grabbed my handbag.
