I wake up, loudly yawning and stretching my tired arms in the process.

Then I gingerly unplug my phone from its overnight charging place on my nightstand, rubbing my eyes before checking my few notifications I had gotten overnight.

Surprisingly, this morning I see a text from Luke.

Luke: morning babe, I dreamt of you last night😏

I nearly choke on my own saliva, rubbing my eyeballs once, then again, to make sure I just read what I thought I read.

Me: lUKE was that supposed to be sent to Lauren I'm guessing? Haha

I didn't mean the 'Haha' part at all.

I mean, this wasn't funny.

Toying my heart with that smirking emoji and all.

I get a reply a few moments later.

Luke: it was meant for you, Charlo ;-)

My eyes widen, then go back to their formalness when I get an immediate buzz after that text.

Luke:just kidding with ya, Charlo :-)

Me: lol yeah I figured...

Luke: so you busy for lunch today?

Me: work this morning, but then I shall be free.

I feel butterflies in my stomach, just from simply texting this sexy rat.

And that is not a good thing.

Charlotte Kingsley does not fall in love with boys like Luke Hemmings.

Boys that are so so full of themselves, so famous.

Luke: thank goodness. Starbucks around noon?

Me: ok sounds good.

Getting out of bed, I feel a smile creep its way onto my face, and knowing I won't be able to help it, I embrace it, grinning widely because Luke- he just makes me feel some type of way.

3 hours later:

I wipe the sweat from my forehead, sighing when I see my very flustered appearance in a mirror on a street corner.

After being swamped at the LAX airport for three hours, I'm flustered, late for my lunch with Luke, and still feeling somewhat claustrophobic and much too overheated.

I hate my job.

I grab my phone out of my pocket, seeing the time says 12:09.

Then I straighten my simple white T-shirt, flatten my cuttoff jean-shorts, and pull my hair out of its slightly sweaty ponytail.

Praying that I look slightly less flustered than before, I pull open the door to Starbucks, sighing in relief when I see Luke sitting in the corner, and feel the air-conditioned walls beckoning me inwards.

He's paging through a menu, looking ever so beautiful, as always.

His long legs slouch under the small coffee table, and I follow them up to see a plain black shirt, defined neck, and ever so cute face.

He locks his bright-blue eyes with my brown ones, looking over me up and down as I did the same to him only seconds before.

I can't help the blush that coats my cheeks, and I hurry over to sit down across from him awkwardly.

He smiles, that very cute dimple that I had actually licked the night before popping out.

"Hey, Charlo. Late much?" He laughs quietly, setting his menu back down on the small table.

I blush once again, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Uh yeah, busy day on the job and all." I sigh, blowing the piece of hair up again.

"Who were you snapping pics of today?" Luke asks in a teasing voice.

"Michael Clifford." I say in a monotone, trying to keep the laugh I wanted to burst out, in

Luke's jaw drops, not believing his ears.

"Um Charlo, you do realize Michael's my best friend, right?"  Luke says.

"Yep, your best friend whom I had to follow into the airport today, along with hundreds of screaming, feisty fangirls who wanted to claw my eyeballs out when Michael lifted his hand to wave at me. Once." I say, straightening the camera strap that's around my neck, and then turning my camera on, to show Luke the nice pictures I had taken of his best friend.

Luke's lower lip sticks out appreciatively, and he nods, seeming quite impressed with the HQ pictures.

"Hey Char, we should take a picture together!" He suddenly says, his eyes brightening up considerably, if that was even humanly possible.

"Now? I look like a walking disaster, Lucas. Plus this is my work camera, I don't take pictures of myself on it!" I chuckle.

I smile when I see his adorable pout take over his handsome features.

"You look fine, Charlo. And my names not Lucas," he pouts, crossing his arms over his wide chest.

I smile, rolling my eyes before walking over to him, slinging my arm across his shoulders and making googley eyes, quickly snapping a quick picture of us.

"Hey! I wasn't ready!" Luke laughs, "let's take one more."

I sigh, "Okay fine,"

This time Luke takes me by complete surprise, by pulling me into his lap, and kissing my cheek before snapping the picture.

I don't even need to look at the picture he had taken, simply because I knew there would be surprise, and a blush, etched all over my face.

Luke doesn't seem at all fazed by it, instead getting us both up, and clapping his hands once before saying,

"Let's order some coffee, Charlo, shall we?" Winking at me once, the smile making his ever so prominently cute dimple pop out once again.

Yes, Lucas. Let's get some coffee.
