~Lauren's POV~
"Class," I hear Mrs. Chains voice and look up. I have my pencil in one hand ,the other hand fiddling with my hair. "The Sun" I am in History class. I have always been a very studious student. There is supposedly a exam on this, I need to take every single note. "This is a very interesting topic. It is known that it will explode soon. Very soon. From NASA records, it is known to explode this year, yet, it has been known to explode in the last too, never has."
Bring-ring-ring!
The end of class. Everyone jumps out of their seats except for me. Once everyone is out of the classroom, Mrs. Chains walks to my desk.
"Is everything alright, Ms. Walker?" She asks me.
"Well, no."
"What's the matter?"
"Is it true? The fact that the Sun will explode?"
"Yes , it is very much true. "
"This year?" Mrs. Chains nods her head. "How do you prevent this from happening?"
"You can't, it's natural. "
"Then how do you keep yourself safe from this, when it does happen?"
"There is no way. It will be the end of the world as we know it."
"But, that can't be. I'm only 17. There's so much I haven't accomplished yet."
"Then I recommend that you accomplish everything that you need to in the next 3 days. " I sigh. "And Ms. Walker, you are an amazing student. Thank you for being in my class."
I smile at her and she smiles back.
I didn't know that this history lesson wouldn't be history for very long....Authors note:
