~Joseph's POV~
"Oh, no..." I say to myself when I read the news article. "I guess it's going to happen now, the end of the world..."
Bring-ring-ring!
The sound of my cellphone ringing startles me. Lauren, Lauren's calling me?
(L-Lauren. J-Joseph)
L
Hi dad!
J
Hi sweetheart! What's going on?
L
Mom told me that you are coming home early.
J
Yeah, I'm leaving right now.
L
She told me to tell you that we are having a family night out.
J
That's great! I'll be home soon.
L
Okay, see you then. Love you!
J
Love you, too. This will be fun, the last time we had a family night out was the week before Bailey died, it was the best time ever. Seems like everything we have a family Night out, something tragic happens.
"Night, Jones!" I yell to my co worker "See you- tomorrow?"
"If IT doesn't happen tonight, then sure, I'll see you tomorrow!" He got up and patted me on the back. "It's been wonderful knowing you. "
"You too, tell your kids that they are amazing,"
"You too..."
I leave then , knowing it would get awkward between us. The last night I live, and it's with my family, what more could I ask for?Authors note:

Tell me what you think 'IT' is!
Hopefully you enjoy the story!
