I woke up that next morning to a loud knock on my door. My eyes snapped open. I gasped as soon as I saw Will's light brown eyes staring back at me.
On the bright side, Will's bruises were looking better already.
I looked up to see the door handle moving.
"I'm changing!" I yelled out. "Oh, sorry sweetheart, I'll wait!" My dad yelled from the other side of the door.
"Get in the closet now!" I whisper yelled to Will. He nodded and quickly stood up, and that ladies and gentlemen, was the time I nearly got a heart attack by just looking at a guy. He was wearing no shirt, yes, you read right- no shirt.
I suddenly stopped breathing as I caught a glimpse of his bare chest. My eyes scanned his breathtaking body. He was only wearing a pair of plaid boxers. He had a six pack, oh lord, help me.
He was in panic mode, so luckily he didn't notice me checking him out. God was really on my side today.
His bare back was just amazing. I've never seen a better looking back in my life. How had I not noticed this last night? I shook my head, disappointed in myself.
It's a good thing that I think quick sometimes. Otherwise, we would both be dead right now. Will successfully made it into my closet, not before giving me a thumbs up. I smiled.
I walked up to my door and opened it.
"Hello father." I said in a British accent. Dad looked at me up and down. He sighed. "I thought you were changing."
I should of thought this through. I'm not the best under pressure. "Yeah, I was, but I just couldn't decide what to wear so I put this back on. I wouldn't want to look ridiculous wearing a nice shirt and these pajama bottoms, dad. You wouldn't understand." I shook my head rolling my eyes.
He nodded "Ah, you're right, sorry." He said as he looked behind me.
"Why are those blankets and pillows on the floor?" He asked. I turned around, trying to buy time to think of another excuse. I stared at the pillows and blankets before me. I swiftly turned back around.
"Oh, those?" I asked pointing to them. "What other pillows and blankets on the floor do you see here, child?" He asked.
I chuckled. "Oh dad, you're so full of it. I actually didn't feel like sleeping on my bed as you can see.-" I said, pointing to my nicely made bed.
"I've been having back problems because of it. I think I need a new mattress. The floor seemed welcoming and I'm up for new experiences, so I decided to go crazy and make a change, as you can see."
He nodded looking convinced. "Well, I guess we are going to have to go buy you a new mattress. How about Monday?" He asked. I nodded. I feel so bad now. I'm making my parents buy me a new mattress for no reason.
"Not to sound rude but, why are you here?" I asked. "Oh yeah, so my boss and his family are going on a camping trip this coming up weekend. He invited us to go too. You know we all have to go, I can't say no to my boss." I sighed.
I only love going camping when it's with my cousins or family. Not when it's my parents and a couple of strangers. I mean, yeah my dad knows his boss, but I've never met him. He sounds like a nice guy and all but still. I'm awkward so I'll just make things awkward for everyone.
"Okay fine. I'll go. On only one condition. I don't share the same tent with you and mom again." I said cringing as I remembered what happened last time. It left me scarred.
"You guys put me through enough. I will never be able to go comping again without remembering the incident."
Dad shifted from one foot to another uncomfortably. "I'm sorry sweetie! We thought you were asleep."
