Chapter 10

Malcolm is shown sitting on top of one of the robot's chest. "I can't sense you so must be 100% inorganic." Malcolm crushes one of them to reveal wires and steel. " how the hell did Lucas make robots like these?" Malcolm decides to begin combing through the parts of Lucas's mind he read, but one of the robots ,away from Malcolm, launches a laser beam at him. Malcolm catches the laser beam with his telekinetic powers and flings it back at the robot, incinerating off it's upper body. Malcolm then goes back to combing through Lucas's mind. "They had laser beams the entire time they could've hurt me a bit." Malcolm examines the gun arm of the robot he's on. "The full force a supernova in something like that, seriously how is he making these?" Malcolm freaks out at the knowledge he had, since Malcolm doesn't understand any of this. 'what the hell was that?' A door, hidden at the end of the room, opens on it's own into a dimly lit hallway. Meanwhile, Jill is still dealing with the robots inside her room. "You jerks!" Jill is now flying around and shooting laser out of her eyes at the robots. Jill is now only in her underwear. She spots a few of the remaining robots and vaporizes them. She then turns back to her destroyed clothes. "I can't believe i burned my own clothes." She then goes to grab her flashlight on the floor. She pulls out her flashlight and tries using it again. The flashlight turns on. She pouts at the flashlight. "Oh now you decided to work." She whips her head around when Malcolm flies in. "you okay?" Jill looks at Malcolm with shock. "yeah i'm fine but my clothes got destroyed, do you know if Claire's fine?" Malcolm looks away towards where Claire is. " yeah she's fine, ready?"Jill nods. "ready." she says with a determined face. Josue has just finished making his move when he loses a pawn to Lucas's pawn. "so how do you know death?" Lucas looks over the board thinking his next strategy as Josue answers. "oh i became friends with the new death because..." A younger Josue is shown reading a book as he hears a knock on the door. "oh sup man." Josue looks at a younger worried death. "hey listen..." death is looks at the ground unsure of how to do this. Death takes a deep breath and faces Josue. "your brother is dead." Death looks away from Josue's shocked face. Josue stares blankly at him. "how did he die?" Death avoids his gaze. "I fought him and killed him." Death then looks directly at him. Josue puts out his right hand motioning for a handshake. "thank you for doing it," A shocked death shakes his hand "I'm glad he won't cause this world anymore problems." Josue finishes making his move. "so that's what happened." Lucas makes his move quickly while responding. "so death kills your brother and your response is to become friends with him." Lucas pulls out his pocket watch. "you have about half an hour now by the way." Josue looks at Lucas after taking one of his rooks. "okay then how did you come across me?" Lucas looks up and smiles. "you know how, you just can't accept it." Lucas looks at a Josue's darkened face. "now then since my boss wants to know this, are you and Kim still dating?" Josue looks up at him with an annoyed face. " Why does everyone ask that seriously we're just friends!" Lucas raises an eyebrow at him. "so you don't have feelings for her?" Josue looks away. "well I have mixed feelings for her but right now we're just best friends." Lucas shakes his head. "sure you are." Lucas takes one last look at his pocket watch. "let's start the endgame, i have to be somewhere soon." Lucas moves another piece into place. All the robots that were fighting Claire have been stabbed to the floor with laser swords. Claire is just smiling like a psycho at their twitching. "It's been so long since i could actually have a good fight." Claire kicks the first robot corpse on the ground. Her psycho smile disappears being replaced with a determined face. She turns to see the tons of swords that are stabbed into multiple surfaces. She then snaps her fingers and all the blades begin to glow. The blades explode and all the robots and swords disappear in a blink of red light. Malcolm and Jill rush in as a hidden door flies open. They all look around and see none of the robots that they fought. "You took out the robots?" Claire nods at them. "Well yeah it was pretty easy." Jill hugs Claire happily as Malcolm nods approvingly. "good work Claire, now then any questions?" Claire looks over at Jill. "Why aren't you wearing clothes?" Jill is about to answer the question when Malcolm stops her. "You guys can catch up later, right now we have to find Josue." Claire and Jill nod and they all run into the hallway. Josue moves a piece directly into the path of the white king. "check and I hear my team making their way here." Lucas moves the king aside. "They can't stop me or disarm the bomb." Josue and Lucas look at the chessboard not actually looking at each other. "actually Jill has a special way of dealing with bombs but you're right they can't stop you," Josue moves another piece into position, "but I can, checkmate." Lucas laughs at the loss he was just dealt. "You're not fast enough to stop me..." The energy door gets busted down at that instant. Josue hides right hand and points to the end of the room. "the bombs past that door, Go." They charge past Josue and when they reach Lucas Jill blasts him down, then Malcolm slams him into the ceiling while Claire jumps and shoots a laser beam at the door following Jill and Malcolm though it. "you didn't try very hard to stop them." Josue looks at Lucas coughing on the floor. Lucas then jumps up, heals himself and is about to chase them when a cane gets thrown at his feet. "if you want to chase them," Josue stretches his neck, "you'll have to get through me first." Lucas smiles as Josue puts his hands into his pockets. "why not, after all I did want to see if i could fight you after all." Lucas Puts both hands on top of his cane and faces Josue with a glint of excitement on his eyes. "let's do this!"
