*back I present day*

It's cold here in the under realms.

"Hey dad? I need to tell you something" I sigh walking up too my dad. When we don't fight we usually just ignore each other so he looks genuinely shocked when I ask this.

"What Is it son?" He asks me sitting up in his bed. He sounds like he really doesn't care, but also worried because I need go to him with anything.

"Well I'm kinda failing school" I mumble off at the end and he sits up straighter and I can tell he's angry. I mentally tell at myself for telling him myself. I should have just waited for the teachers to tell him. I prepare myself for the lecture coming.

"Dan I raised you to be better then this, I'm not sure at all why you would be failing you work hard don't you?" He asks me angrily giving me a death glare.

"I try" I say. This is more of a lie. I skip school sometimes to go to illegal wizard duels. What? I can make a lot of money off just betting for the right wizard.

"Well try harder Daniel!" He snaps at me. "Look Daniel you are going to be king one day and you need to be educated. You need to know how to make potions and do magic and the history of the under realms" my dad goes on his huge lecture I've head a thousand times about how I will rule the under realms and marry a princess and have a son to pass the crown down to just like he did and I need to hold up the family legacy.

But I don't want to get married or have kids or even become king. It all sounds like so much work and girls aren't even that interesting to me.

My dad ends up walking out on me in his own bedroom in an angry fit about how this isn't how he raised me.

I end up flying out to Phil's. Ya I know I was there last week and yea I know I should not just barge into his house but he won't mind. I hope.

I fly in through the open window. Why the hell is the window open? It's like December! I silently walk around Phil's house until I find him there in the kitchen humming happily to himself. His back is turned and he seems tone eating something. I quietly sneak in and he turns around with a scream and drops the box of cereal 'Corn flakes' and I laugh.

"My god okay dan you can't just sneak up on me, and how is you get in? I Locke the windows!" Phil says anoyed.

"Are you eating plain cereal?" I ask and he pushes the glasses up on his face.

"Yea I might have been" I mumbles and picks up the box. None spilled like last time but then again like last time he was pouring a bowl and not eating the dry cereal by handfuls straight from the box.

"Anyway you left your window open, in your lounge" I say and he puts the box of cereal in the cupboard.

"Oh yea there was a moth-" he says and I shutter. Moths are so gross there like big fat Harry butter flys. "Anyways I got it out and must have left the window open" he finishes after giving me a strange look.

"I'm actually failing school" I say but it sound sarcastic by mistake. even though it's true. "That sounded sarcastic but it's not I'm really failing" I laugh.

"Oh wow, what career are you going Into?" Phil asks me and I sigh.

"Vampire king" I say. I proceed to go on a rant about how I'm stuck being something I don't want to be and that I'm having to hold up a family legacy.

"Wow dan that sucks" Phil sighs throwing me pepperoni sticks and I catch them.

"Hey what do you do for a living?" I ask. I really don't know much about Phil. Other then he liked lions, something called anime and the colour blue.

"I'm a YouTuber" Phil says

"What's YouTube?" I ask. He explains that YouTube is a video posting website. He has 3 almost 4 million subscribers an has been doing it for years. Suddenly I feel really interested in this. It sounds cool and I wanna do it.

But I can't. Because I'm a stupid vampire that has to live a life has a prince and being told in never good enough.

Being with Phil always makes thing seem better though. He's just so nice and the more I get to know him the more I wanna hang out with him.

He's actually my friend.
