Hamilton's POV

I quickly walked into my new dorm at King's College to find 3 other people there. What? I thought I was going to be alone. Apparently not.
I was reluctant at first but then one of the boys, who looked like he had just eaten a horse, came up to me and shook my hand when I thought he was going to hit me.
"Hi, I'm Hercules Mulligan!"
Then another boy came up wearing a shirt with the USA flag on it. But he was French. That's kinda ironic.
"Ah bonjour, I am Lafayette,"
"Hi Baguette..."
"Lafayette,"
"Baguette"
"That's- that's fine..." Lafayette had a thick French accent.
Then the boy wearing a turtle onesie came up to me and shook my hand as well.
"Hey, I'm John Laurens!"
"Alexander Hamilton," I manage to get through my own name without stammering.
John throws his head back and laughs, dark brown curls bouncing behind him. Wow, that laugh, a beautiful medley of all the wonderful sounds in the world, I can feel myself falling for him fast, this is already dangerous.
"So you're the guy who I have all my classes with!" He grins and I feel a hot blush spread over my cheeks, I'm in every class with this guy? I don't know whether this is a good thing or bad thing, I'm leaning towards good. The world seemed still for a second and then...
*knock knock knock*
"Who's that?" Mulligan asked.
"Oui let me just put my X-Ray glasses on and see, go and check then Mulligan," Lafayette said jokingly.
So he did as he was told and opened the door to find a smiling boy holding a plate of cookies.
"Heyyyyy guys-" he said pushing past Mulligan. He sat down next to me and I shuffled away, who the hell was this guy?
"Sooo, I hear you're the new student, have a cookie."
"Um I'm good thanks and yes I'm the new student. I-I've just moved here from the Caribbean..."
"Well that's great- are you sure you don't want a cookie? We have a debate team if you want to join, I could use someone on my team-"
"BYE BURR!" Shouted Mulligan as he took a handful of cookies and shoved him out of the door. He shared them with Lafayette.
"Ignore him, Alex. He just wants an entourage but he fails to do so." Laurens told me, leaning over me and grabbing a cookie right from Mulligan's hand.
"He is the worst," Lafayette added, locking our door. "But you soon learn to ignore him."
"Aaron Burr. He's in most of our classes," Laurens put his feet up on a scuffed coffee table and looking at me with his dark, dark eyes.
"Probably just copying you, John." Mulligan chuckled as he grabbed my case and put it next to the furthest door from the kitchen. "Your room," he said "Has been strategically placed away from the kitchen so you don't eat my food."
Lafayette coughed and grinned at me.
"Sorry, Laf's food, which I eat." He corrected himself.
