chapter 3: When You Hold Me in the Street

Lisa's POV

As I got into the studio to see Ryder with a huge grin on his face.

"Lisa! So will you be the one to talk to Lauren about the important details about the tour or should I?" He asked 

"Oh no it's okay Ryder you can be the one to tell her," I wouldn't want a repeat on the conversation we had earlier.

"Alright then" he said and went out 

I then decided to cal Colin since I haven't heard from him since this morning

After a few rings he answered

"Hey babe!" He exclaimed

"Hey, where'd you go?" I asked

"Oh babe I'm sorry there was an emergency at work and I had to leave that I didn't wake you up anymore" he says

"That's okay but Lauren agreed to go on tour" I say

"Really? That's great babe" he says 

"You know what I'm really proud of you for all of this stuff since I know that this is what you really wanted to do and I'm glad you didn't let anyone hold you down" he says which made me smile

"Well thank you for being with me throughout this ride" I say to him

"I love you so much Lise" he says 

"I love you too" I reply

"But hey I gotta go Lise, I love you" and he hangs up

Gosh, I love him so much 

Ryder then comes back and has a smile on his face

"Lisa you're going to Tennessee" he says

"Yeah I was going there anyways to visit my family" I say 

"We're going to pick up Lauren instead of her going here I did that so that you can have some extra time with them" He says 

"Thank you Ryder!" I say with a huge smile on my face

"Hurry up our flight is tonight" he says

"Wow, someone's eager" I say 

"Well not to mention my girlfriend lives in Nashville too so...." he trails off and my eyes widen.

"You have a girlfriend?!" And he just nods as I get out and drive home again to pack my things 

Wow, I can't believe I'm going to see my family after so long

But Colin was still on my mind, the way he makes me blush by just looking at me is incredible, the words he says to me

Cause I'm yours...

That made me think maybe I can write a song dedicated to Colin!

Me and Colin have been dating for almost 1 year already and I still can't tell my fans we're actually dating. Why? We both want some privacy and telling it to the fans obviously won't help.

After fixing my things and all that stuff, I decided to take a shower first. I went in, took off my clothes, opened the shower and started humming to some random tune. While I was humming and all that stuff you do when you're taking a bath, a phrase crossed my mind. This can be a great start for the song I'm about to make.

When you hold me in the street a-

My phone started ringing. I reached my hand out to get the towel that's hanging on the clothesline and eventually wrapped it around my body.

I went out of the bathroom and grabbed my phone.

Ryder.

I answered.

"Eyy, what's up?" I asked. He laughed.

"What's up? Dude you said you'll just fix your things then you'll go back here?" He asked.

"Eager, Ryder?" I teased.

"Oh shut up and move more faster, lol I know that's redundant but please please please I really need you to move more than that word "faster"," He said. I laughed.

"Fine fine, bye," I laughed before hanging up. I just wore simple jeans and a shirt then got back to what I was doing. 

Fixing the last of my things that I was going to bring, when I finished there was a knock on my door, I opened it to see Ryder standing there 

"Are you done?" He asked 

"Yes Ryder" I say 

"Good" He says as I go back in and grab my suitcase locking the door behind me, I already told Colin so it was all good 

I got inside the car with Ryder and his driver, he was in the passenger seat while I was at the back staring at the window which after a while was covered with raindrops which calmed me, for some reason little rain drizzles like this keeps me in my head to think about anything and everything 

But as I thought more and more it led to Lauren, what if she still kind of hates me? I mean hate is a strong word so hopefully not, to be fair she wouldn't have agreed to going on tour with me if she doesn't like me being around her

"Lise would you be staying with your family or in a hotel?" Ryder asks snapping me out of my thoughts 

"I think I'd stay with my family, I miss them so much" I say and Ryder smiles before turning his attention to his phone once again
