"Can you take care of the bunker for us Cas?"
Sam, Dean and Castiel were all in the kitchen. Dean was packing a bag full of guns. Sam was focused on cleaning something Cas wasn't fully sure on what it was. And he stood in the doorway, he had kept Dean's shirt on but out the trench coat on over it with some pants. He stood up straight when Sam talked.
"Of course Sam. I've got this."
Sam smiled, putting the cloth down and sticked the thing inside the gun bag. It was time for them to go.
"Dean..I'll-I'll uh take this out to the car and put it in the back."
Dean nodded, never looking up. Sam left, moving around Cas, patting his shoulder.
"Thank you man. This means a lot." Sam gave him a warm smile, nodding in reassurance.
"It's no problem Sam. Always happy to help you guys."
Sam left without anything else. It was Dean and Cas. Dean stood by the table, his head hung low, fists clenched.
"Dean. It's-its okay. I'll see you when you get back."
Dean let one tear slip. One. No more. He had to be a man about this.
"Yeah. Yeah I know. You just got back...that's all." Dean smiled, looking at Cas with a hunting glimmer. Castiel nodded, holding his hand out for Dean. Dean grabbed it then pulled his angel close. Their bodies collided, Castiel wrapped his arms around Dean's neck, tight. But he needed to stay strong for Dean.
"I'll see you soon, okay? You go hunt and do some good for this shitty world."
Cas didn't know if he had used that word right, but that's what Dean had said so he assumed he did.
"I'll call. At least once. You stay safe, okay?"
Dean kept his nose pressed to the crook of Cas's neck. He didn't want to forget the smell. Who knew how long he'd be gone. And that is what scared him. He couldn't give Castiel a date to look forward too....none the less a date for him to look forward to. It was all a mess. But this was their mess.
"Okay. Dean...I-I love you."
It was very gentle rolling off Castiel's lips. Dean smiled, but stopped. He furrowed his eyebrows again, realizing what Cas said. But slowly, he pressed his lips against his ear. Quietly he whispered,
"I love you too."
Then he kissed the Angel. There was silence, the kiss was sweet and soft, not hard. It wasn't full of wanting sex, it was filled with something much better. Dean truly would miss Cas, and Castiel would truly miss Dean. And this kiss, it meant everything to them. Their lips moving together, their breaths matching. Bodies pushed together by hands, eyes closed. But, quickly, Dean pulled away and just pat Cas on the shoulder.
"I will see you when I get back man. Don't mess this place up, and protect it. Keep an eye out for yourself too. Please and thank you."
And with that, Dean left. It aggravated Castiel a bit, but he understood. It just frustrated him a bit. But that didn't matter right now.
The kiss.
It lingered on his lips.
Dean's hands touching his body, he could still feel them. Roaming new places.
He knew that Dean would never accept that fact about himself, maybe he would, but it was hard for Dean. But that wouldn't matter. Because what Dean had said to him, what had happened last night, that is what mattered. Cas knew what Dean needed, not wanted. It was just hard for him because Dean wasn't accepting. Dean would always deny. And he had to think to himself....why? Not what a normal human being would think, they might think, should I have to deal with this? No. Castiel had to think about why he was this way. Then he wanted to help Dean. If he could. Because that is what Cas did. Helped Dean. Helped the Winchesters. Helped the people or angels who needed it.

"You good?" Sam questioned as Dean climbed into the car.
"Yeah. Of course. Where we headed?" Dean never did the research so he waited for Sam to find them a job.
"Well....last night whiled researching I found a case in Illinois. Some family had a-"
"ARE WE GOING TO CHICAGO?" Dean excitedly shouted and started the car. His smile stretched from ear to ear! Sam forgot that Chicago was one of his favorite places to visit.
"Uh, no Dean. Sorry. Rockford. Rockford, Illinois." Sam cleared his throat, glancing at Dean.
"Oh-pff yeah that's cool too. So...what about this case?" He stepped on the gas, swallowing his excitement.
"Well, this family went camping. Happy little vacation, right? It turned out that only the daughter and her big brother came back? They claim that their parents and sister were kidnapped. The bodies were never found so from all we know they were just kidnapped. But...strange sightings or hairy creatures with big claws have been seen around the woods."
"Like big foot?" Dean furrowed his eyebrows.
"Sure. Or a-"
"Werewolf."
Sam nodded, throwing the paper next to him.
"But they don't usually appear in woods....like....it's rare? I don't know, but I thought we'd check it out." He shrugged. Dean shook his head, not even sure if this was for them. But whenever he fell like that, he usually was wrong. When Sammy did his research, he researched for a long time making sure he was right and not directing them the wrong way. He was grateful for that because he would probably always do that.

Castiel looked around the bunker. He was just...bored. He wanted to do something but being stuck in here protecting the bunker for the Winchesters, he was trapped. Well, maybe he shouldn't put it that way. He was home. But stuck inside it? He didn't know what it was but he wanted something to do.
He picked up the phone.
"Cas? Been a while."
It was Crowley.
"Crowley. The boys are gone and...and I'm bored." He sighed, looking around again.
"Are you serious angel? You're calling me.....because you're bored?" He let his mouth hang open. Crowley should've been the last person he would've called.
"Yes?" Castiel stopped walking. He squinted. "Is that...bad?"
Crowley just chuckled.
"I don't know. Depends. Listen...I'm running hell down here so I really can't help much, you're kind of on you own. And please, DON'T CALL ME AGAIN." Crowley screamed into the phone. The weird thing though, he didn't hear anything from the other side. Just...silence. Then a loud bang. He just shrugged. Castiel was either in trouble or had just forgotten to turn the phone off properly, neither he really cared about. So he hung up, but just for safety reasons, he sent a text to Dean saying
"Check on Cas will ya? He is getting quite annoying."
