It was really cold. Before she went to sleep it was already cold, but now it was different, she knew it. It was freezing that they could turn the place into a penguin rehabilitation centre.

Her lungs felt like it was being squeezed as she opened her eyes while taking deep breaths just to see a pristine walls. It was really white and the light was also bright that it hurt her eyes. She squeezed her eyes shut for a moment and opened it slowly. It was blurry at first and she waited until her sights were a bit better before turning her head around.

She was lying on a hard surface, and the sanitised smell was heavy in the air. She heard a beeping sound next to her and saw a big monitor with her heart rate on it. She then noticed an IV standing next to her that connected to the needle on the back of her left hand. It had some kind of bluish liquid in it. She let out a chocked groan and reached with her right hand to pull it out but it was stuck with something else.

She turned to her right and saw another tube was inserted into her forearm, a slightly bigger than the IV one. She tilted more to her side and saw the tube leading to some plastic bag that contained red liquid.

No wonder she wasn't feeling very well.

Farra wanted to calm herself down, but she knew it won't do anything. She basically dreamed on a real situation, where she was only a bystander.

Her body shook and she felt hot droplets trailed on her cold cheeks. Her heart sank listening to her attempt to contain any sob from leaving her mouth. She sniffed and bit her bottom lip as she took deep breaths to calm herself. Before Farra knew it, her right hand reached over and pulled the needle out from her left hand. As soon as it was tore from her skin, she felt a tinge of pain and she let out a shaky breath.

She then reached her trembling left hand to the place where the blood tube was. She clamped on her jaw and pulled it out. The puncture was a bit bigger than the IV needle prick, so blood gushed out from the wound as she dropped the tube down, letting the blood to flow out from the bag onto ground, no doubt staining the pristine marble floor.

Blood dripped down her right hand and through her left fingers. She bit back her screams and blinked on her burning tears. She breathed in and out, trying to focus. A small light seared from the touch of her left hand on the wound, and when she opened it, the wound was already healed, but the skin around it was still looking purplish.

She sat down slowly and closed her eyes when she felt her head spinning. Her white knee-length dress was a mess of her own blood, whilst her unkempt dark mane hair stuck in every direction. She must've looked like a hella of crazy lady right now.

Her wobbly legs swung off the stiff bed and onto the cold floor. They weren't used to her weight just yet and she fell down, sprawling on the floor. A determination was set in her heart as she lifted herself up and dragged her body out of the room.

She was met with a long broad hallway, where the walls were pale blue. It was weird, she always thought bad places will have much more dark colours with it, like red, or black. Nevertheless, she chose one side, which was the the hallway on her right, and walked through it. She quickened her pace, but not fast enough for her not to get caught. It was proven then. Someone dragged her back and into a dimlight room.

She went panic when the door closed, it was when she realised the hand that covered her mouth smelled sweet. She calmed down and tapped on the hand.

"If I let you go, please do not scream, okay?" The person asked, and she nodded.

The hand that was cupping her mouth slowly disappeared and Farra felt her body turned around almost instantly, but what she was not prepared for was seeing what stood before her. A girl, almost the same size as her were blinking rapidly, a nervous smile was spread on her face as Farra's fell into a frown. The girl was wearing a t-shirt and jeans, her dark hair was tied into french braid that fell on her left shoulder.
