"So, you're telling us that she's really being held in the Number fort and a member actually wants to help her plotting an escape?" Aieyn asked, carefully choosing her words, but it seemed like her attempt for a nice, calm talk was thrown over a cliff.
Farra tensed, she was radiating a negative force from her and the people around her felt it, it made them more nervous, especially Danish, who was fidgeting more than usual.
Farra had woken up very late that day, at 2 in the afternoon to be exact. When she jolted awake, she was drenched in sweats, but surprisingly her hands and feet were cold. She hurriedly made her way to the Living Room and called everyone who was busy making their last preparations for the war.
And there they were, listening to Farra's latest Vision quietly.
Until Aieyn decided to cut in the middle of Farra's explanation.
"I'm sorry, Far.. but someone from Number wants to help us? I mean, it doesn't make any sense." Aieyn continued. Seeing Farra's sharp gaze, she cleared her throat and raked her brain for any more 'nice' words that she knew.
"I'm not saying that you're lying, no. I'm sure you're telling the truth. But to have someone from their Clan to actually help us, it's nearly impossible. You know how much they hated us." She said, trailing her eyes to Izzudin who stood leaning against the door frame, with his arms around his chest.
"Not to be rude, but it also can be a trap." Izz mumbled, and all heads turned to him.
Jyra gasped, as if realising something. "Yes, if this Lissa girl has the See gift, and that she know what all of us can do, about our powers, she might have told her Elders about us and planned this all along."
Farra's heart was beating hard, and she could practically feel that the fume coming out from both of her ears. But she chose to be patient, after all, if she was in their shoes, she would have thought she was crazy.
"Look, Izz, you told me that the reason why the Crystal Ball show me this is because we are in deep danger. It depends on me how I interpret the Visions." Farra turned to Aieyn who met her eyes, and then trailed her eyes to the rest of Alphabet members.
"I know what I saw, and this is how I see the it; Sheronica is taken by Rusdi, with your mother's help," Farra nodded to Aieyn whose face was unreadable. "She meet Lissa, who appears to want to help her, and I believe her for it." Farra looked around the room for any interruptions before continuing.
"She have had a lot of Visions about us, so she knows a lot about us enough to crush us. But she didn't, and the proof is that the Elder needs Rusdi's help. If she ever told the Elders about us, they would be more clear about our whereabouts, and instead of taking Sheron, they will go for me. Rusdi can only sneak them into our grounds, but he don't know exactly where we are, and Sheron was in the wrong place at a wrong time. He had to take her."
"He attacked us before, at the lake.." Izz started and Farra nodded her head.
"The lake is near the woods, he might have been there for enough time to see you guys, so he attacked you."
"So what are you proposing?" Miezza asked.
Farra took a deep breath. "I'm saying that we should lay low for another few days."
"You hope that Sheronica will come back with that Seer's help." It was Hisham.
He had been quiet long enough to understand what was in Farra's mind. He could feel Farra's anger towards Rusdi coursing through her veins. Unlike Aieyn, she was really good in hiding her feelings.
