They accidentally grouped up at the front of the house where everything started. The hole on the house wall from Number Two's attack were there, looking fresh as if it has just landed there a few minutes ago.
Farra breathed deeply as she stared up to the sky. It has some pinkish streaks on it, and she knew it by then that it was dawn. Any seconds now and the skyline will turn into different shades of oranges before settling on its normal blue. She looked to her side and saw Izzudin staring in front of them. They were circled by all of the remaining creatures, but each of the creatures were already evolved in time and made it even harder to destroy them.
"This can't do." Izzudin murmured. He glanced at Farra and saw her already looking at him. They shared a knowing look before Farra nodded rigidly.
He smiled at her and she returned it. She stepped back to the last of her members; Hisham, Noorizan, Miezza and Jyra who were alert to any movements from the creatures. Izzudin stayed where he was.
"Farra, I need you to take the members to the hidden room, now." Izzudin said and Farra nodded, eyes travelling down to her shoes that were covered in dirt by now.
Miezza looked at Farra and Izz. "What?" She asked incredulously.
Izzudin didn't even spare a glance to her.
"You heard me. This clan needs leaders for the next generation."
"And you? What are you going to do?"
"I'll be fine. Now go."
Miezza bit her bottom lip. "I'm staying with you."
"No!" Izzudin roared. "Go. Away. I don't need you to be here. Just go with Farra."
"Why can't I be with you? Don't lie to me Izz, I know you, and you are not a good liar. If you're thinking of sacrificing yourself then you better think of another idea now because I'm not letting you to."
"I don't ask for your opinion." He replied harshly. He turned to her, eyes cold and the corner of his lips were curled down in distaste.
"Now stop being a spoiled child and go. You're risking the entire group." He added and Miezza was shocked by the bitterness in his voice. She looked at her friends, their expressions reflecting her own. Farra's lip were set in thin lines.
He divided himself to a clone and used his clone to push her toward the house. She was already tearing up. Izzudin was pushing her away. They made a promise that they will figure it out together and now he didn't want her to be there, yet she wanted to be with him in life and in death.
Jyra placed a palm on Miezza's shoulder and pulled her into the house as the real Izzudin faced back to the warpath, the clone still ushering the rest to follow the Leader who already stepped inside the house.
Miezza turned around one last time, expecting him to be looking at her but he didn't. Her heart broke into tiny parts, yet all of them were still screaming his name. She know she'd be waiting for him. She wanted him back, and she'll deal with him later.
"Promise you'll come back!" Miezza yelled from the door. "Promise me!"
Izzudin didn't bother to look at her. He kept his back on her. He felt like he was stabbed by thousand of thorns, it was too painful and real at the same time. She asked him to promise, and he really wanted to. But he knew exactly what will happen.
"You will die." Farra said when they were in the office.
Sheronica was training with the new members and the Numbers respectively, while the other leaders were in his office talking about the incoming war. Farra has had another vision and it was about who will live and who wouldn't.
