A lot of updates a day. I decided to finish this in one go, since I'm on the roll.
Enjoy xx
"Let me go! I have to help my friends!" The girl yelled as Zul gritted his teeth. He was having a headache because Lissa had been screaming nonstop since she was forced into that small space.
He understand why she was acting like that, so he didn't even bother to ask her to stop. He, too, wanted to help. But Izzudin made him promised that he would ensure the girls safety.
It was during the time he came to meet Izzudin at his office to ask about Sheronica. Izz had figured out about his feelings toward the petite girl. But nonetheless, it was the day he made a promise.
"Zul, you're a great guy. So I guess I can trust you with this." Izz said, and Zul brought his eyes up to him.
"I'm not going to let Sheronica fight." He said with a finality in his voice as his eyes locked with Zulfikar's, daring him to say otherwise.
He had to agree with that one."I know she will not agree with this, but I have to make sure this Clan will continue. Farra agreed." Izzudin said, sipping on his coffee. "This is exactly where your job is. Bring her and that girl Lissa to the basement and lock yourself in. Don't come out until the war ended." Izzudin ordered.
"Can I have your promise?"
Zulfikar nodded slowly. Yes.
Lissa was now banging on the door and tried the knob but she pulled her hand back when she touched the extremely cold door knob. She resorted on kicking the door instead.
Zul's shoulder was tapped by someone. He turned around and saw the girl he loved looking at him. Her eyes were pooled by unshed tears.
"Zul, d-did Izz told you to do this?" She asked, her voice were barely a whisper.
He searched her face before heaving a sigh. Finally he nodded.
"Thank you." She said, and he looked back at her, eyes wide in shock.
"Thank you for thinking about my safety, thank you for agreeing to this." She said softly. "But do you think I can handle it if my friends die when I am still alive? Considering that I can do something to help." She added, eyes flickering to Lissa was now sitting on the floor, bawling her eyes out quietly.
"I can't live like that, Zul. I rather die fighting with my friends than alive locked up in here." She stepped closer to him. "Please, I promise I'd stay by your side. You can protect me then... just... don't let me live this way."

Outside, it was a bloody sight. None of the members die, yet their body was covered by bruises and wounds. Not only the hooded creature had Sheronica's healing power, they also seemed to know all of the member's powers which was impossible."Well, well, well. Look what we have here. A bunch of traitors." The man spat, eyes gleaming with hatred as he watched Alex on the forest floor. Dylan was crouching next to him, trying to stop the blood from pouring out of the deep wound in his side.
"You don't know what you did, bastard." Dylan growled menacingly.
"Oh didn't I?" He said, throwing a knife to them.
It happened so fast that Dylan didn't see it coming. The next thing he heard was a loud groan that came from his mouth and a knife sticking deep into his shoulder blade.
"Dylan!" Alex yelled, trying to get up. But a slight move made the wound on his stomach hurt even more.
"Tsk, what a pity sight. Should I make your death less painful then? I guess not since you helped the enemy." He said, pulling a sword out of the air.
"Say goodbye to your pathetic life." He added and advanced to the two guys.
Dylan wanted to make some more runes, but his magic was depleting rapidly. So was Alex. It wasn't a good thing since he was already suffering major blood loss. Draining his magic will kill him. But they expect no less from the Number Two.
Just as the man swung his sword up for a final blow, he was hit by a block of ice making him lose balance and thrown to the side, his sword fell from his grip.
He looked to the person who attacked him instantly and rained him with translucent blades but the person was even more faster in making a thick shelter out of ice.
"Don't move." Sheronica said as she helped Alex first.
She felt a surge of power and concentrated them to her palm as she started to heal Alex's stomach. When the wound was closed, she rushed to Dylan's aid.
"What the hell are you doing out here." He said as Sheronica touched his wounded shoulder, slightly putting a force to heal it.
"Saving your asses." Zul muttered, and layered his shelter with another ice as it was starting to break through the enemy's attack. "Who's this guy anyway?!"
"Number Two." Alex said, clenching his teeth. If his magic capacity weren't nearly empty, he'd aid Zul. But right now, he can't use anymore because it'll risk his life.
"He is capable of draining someone's magic. That's why Dylan and I can't use magic anymore." Alex said as Zul nodded.
"Wait, where's Lissa?" Dylan asked when Sheronica finally fixed his shoulder. "Aren't she with you?"
"She was." Sheronica gasped.
Alex, Dylan and Sheronica looked around for her familiar dark hair but she was nowhere to be found.
"Ah damn it!" Zul yelled. His shelter was breaking. "We have to go!"
The sides were shattered, and the covers were getting smaller. A blade landed next to Sheronica's feet and her eyes widened. She pulled herself closer to Zul, Dylan and Alex followed. It was getting narrow and narrow...
Until it stopped.
A piercing scream shocked them. Zul pulled back his hands and his shelter disappeared.
The sight infront of them surprised them more, it that was possible.Lissa had brought the sword and buried it deep into the man's stomach. She was stepping back when he stepped forward. He wrapped a hand on her frail neck and tightened his grasp.
"Let her go!" Dylan screamed, trying to run to Lissa but Alex stopped him.
"I don't mind dying." The man sneered at them. "But I'll take my daughter with me."
"My wife's dead because of you." The man's voice turned harsh before he took his blade and staked it to Lissa's chest, right where her heart was.
Sheronica let out a cry and Zul shielded her from the scene. A thumping sound was heard as both the man and Lissa dropped to the ground, dead.
