Chapter Ten : I QUIT

"I QUIT " I tell the principal as I storm out of his office
"But ---hey come back" He races after me
"I told you to give lily a detention and she ends up getting a private lunch with her friends !!" I say angrily
"Her mom is the mayor !!"the he says
"I don't care in my book she is just a kid " I yell
" well I care for my job so she is going to continue getting help" He says as I run out of the building bumping into David
"Hey what's wrong " David says as he wraps me into a hug
" I lost my job " I said as I told him how lily punched and kicked a little girl and I wanted her suspended but all she got was a party
" I told him if he didn't man up and tell her mom what a Terrible girl she is she would graduate but never hold a job and when her mom died than what " I said as he walked next to me
"Oh , I see , we will find you a new one but for now we have more tests remember last Monday we need to finish up "
"Oh okay"I say as he leads me into the testing room where I get pricked with more needles
"Name" the scientist guy asks
"Fine I will say if you tell me your name"
"Fergus" he says
"Hello fergus my name is MARZANNA!!!!!" I yell as fergus gets red
"FULL name" Fergus says angrily
"MARzanna"I say
" you have to say the whole name first and last " Fergus says
" my name is Marzanna get over it " I say as he flips the page
"Birth date " Fergus says
"You want to know what I did in my last years , than ask ,, I don't think you will find me on record so ask away as if I am a newspaper "I say
"Oh someone's in a bad mood today"Phil says after he walks into the room
"Grr" I growl at Phil and David following close behind
"Oh so scary" David says sarcastically
"Fine you get poked and prodded and then have someone yell at you for telling them your name "I say
" okay I think you should get away from Fergus" David says
"He's almost as mad as you " Phil says while chuckling and I flash him a evil glare
" I am going to work at the hospital " I announce and the room goes dead silent as I hear whispers
" is that allowed" someone whispers
"I don't know" another whispers in awe
"Why wouldn't that be allowed " I ask
"Do you even have a medical degree?"Phil asks
"Yes " I run my fingers through my hair "why wouldn't that be allowed". I ask getting Angry
"Well Mathis isn't exactly alive without consequence "David says and Phil elbows him in the stomach
"Neither am I "I say as I stand up from the table " why wouldn't it be allowed " I ask as I straighten my dress
"Well he is alive unlike you , he has a beating heart he needs well sustenance " Phil says
"Go on " I stay getting weirded out
"He well he is"Phil starts talking very quietly " a cannibal "
"Why is that a big deal"I say calmly
"I forgot you are older than dirt ,,, ok so you aren't freaked out by that ?" David says
" nope I am so excited , my second first day"I say with a smile as they are all dumbfounded I stand up and straighten my dress and wipe off the blood from the needles with a nearby tissue " what's wrong with him ?"I ask
" how old are you really ?"David asks
" I was born in a town outside of Salem" I recite as I walk out the door I wish I was born outside of Salem , where I am from is much worse than Salem
