It was the first day of senior year, no one knew who she was, yet everyone knew who he was. Her name was Nicole Wimperton, his name was Jay plowman. She has a major heart disease since she was 9 and has nothing, no one, not even a family. Jay and Nicole couldn't be anymore different, he has a good family, and all he could ask for, well... almost. He has an amazing voice and he loves to share it, he would love to be a big star, with his name in bright and shining lights, and everyone cheering for him to come on stage. Although he's afraid that will never happen. Yet all she wants is love, but everyone has something they think won't happen for them.
They walk into class and Nicole walks straight to the back, Jay looks at her and wonders if she's ok, but lets the feeling go and goes to sit with his friends. The day goes on, same thing in every class: Nicole goes to the back, Jay lets the feeling pass and sits with his friends. Comes lunch and Jay can't take it anymore, he's got to know what's wrong with her.
Jay goes and sits down with Nicole. "Hey, I noticed u sit alone and in the back in every class, what's up with that?" "Nothing, just no one really notices me" replies Nicole. Jay doesn't know about her disease, but something clicks and he starts to like this girl. "Really? That can't be true, how could someone not notice a beautiful girl like yourself." Says Jay hoping that she was getting the hint. "Awe thanks. You're not too bad yourself" she said with a chuckle. The conversation continues and they really hit it off. Jay ask Nicole if she would like a ride home from school, but Nicole doesn't have a home, and doesn't want Jay to know. "I'd love too but I have stuff to do after school sorry. Nicole says hoping he doesn't ask what stuff. Jay sees she got a little sensitive about the topic so he changes the subject.
He starts taking her to his place after school to hang out. They have so much fun with each other but he doesn't think either of them is ready to be in a relationship yet. She knows she should tell him about her disease, but she's afraid that he won't be into her anymore.
