ALEXANDER'S POV
-------%%%-------So right now as I speak, I'm on my Harley and riding to Everest's house.
Yes, I know. I probably shouldn't go over but it doesn't hurt to help a friend, does it? After all, it's just to prepare for another of his gay parties and not to actually party.
Not long after, I reached Everest's house and parked my bike in front of it.
"Hey man," Everest came out and pat my shoulder. "You're early."
I nodded. "Let's go. But remember, bro. I'll only be here to help."
"Alright alright. I get you," he replied as we stepped into the house.
"Hey Everest, the lighting is almo-"
The familiar-looking boy stepped in front of us and stopped his sentence halfway.
"L-Lionel?!" I stared in disbelief. Why is my luck so bad??
"Damn, it's good to see you, Alex!" Lionel waved excitedly.
Gosh. He acts like a retard. This stuff is driving me nuts.
"Aww... you remember Lionel, don't you?" Everest winked.
I sighed and violently grabbed at my hair, feeling a sudden urge to pull it all out.
"Easy there, bro. Lionel's not a bad guy," a soothing voice from behind pushed me forward - into Lionel's arms.
I pulled away anxiously and spun around. Yeah, you guessed it.
Brock.
"Admit it, the embrace didn't feel too bad, was it?"
Is Brock out of his mind?! It felt... it felt... it felt... pretty good, actually, if I must say, though it only was for about 3 seconds.
Oh no. What am I thinking?!
Deciding to be braver -for the sake of Dal - I stepped up towards the boys and said with confidence. "I can't do this, guys. I have a girlfriend. I'm straight."
Oh yeah, at least I think I am. Then why do I feel like I'm becoming more attracted to Lionel? Like actually feeling something. That retard.
"Girlfriend, really?" Brock snickered. "Why do you think we have these parties?"
"How the f*ck should I know?!" I shouted furiously and stormed out of Everest's.
"Wait up!" a voice behind me hollered.
"Never!" I yelled back and got on my bike.
My engine was about to go when a tap on my shoulder stopped me.
"Hey, um. Sorry on Brock's behalf. He's like that. I mean, it's okay to have a girlfriend. But he doesn't think that way. I'm not sure why. Never bothered to ask."
I took off my helmet and turned to the direction of the voice.
Crap! Lionel was talking to me! I'd better get going.
Revving my engine once more, I said, "Whatever."
"Alex, I think... I like you."
