----------------%%%----------------
BACK TO DALANIE'S POV
----------------%%%----------------After I left, I got into my car and sped off in a hurry. I wasn't ready to face yet another heartbreak or knew how to deal with it again.
In less than a year, I fell in love twice and got my heart broken twice. Is that normal or did I just break a record?
Maybe I'm just not ready for love at this time. You think?
Starting to realise that was a small step to moving on, I believe.
Perhaps I could go to the shop and take a break from all this. Life has really brought me all over the place with a roller coaster of emotions.
Turning into the beach's carpark and reversing my car into a lot, I saw a Zachary coming out of his car just opposite mine.
Sigh... I didn't want to see any boys.
I decided to stay in for a bit and wait for him to go off first.
Zachary went over to the other side of the car and opened the door for someone - probably his new girlfriend - I don't know.
However, that 'someone' who slipped out was little Oscar!
Oh my gosh, that cutie! How long has it been since I last saw him?!
My heart swelled with love and I couldn't control myself anymore. I hopped off my vehicle immediately and ran straight to him.
"Dalanie!" He screamed in excitement reaching up to me in attempt for a hug.
I bent down, grinning like a fool and picked him up. The plastic yet realistic-looking jet plane in his hand poked my back but I didn't mind.
He hugged me tightly and said he missed me. I said the same and after a while, I put him down.
Zachary leaned over and whispered in my ear, "Is it my turn? I want to pick you up too."
I slapped his muscular shoulder and he chuckled at me.
"Problem?" He wiggled his eyebrows sexily.
I had to look away. The charm...
"Are you here to have ice cream?" I asked Oscar.
"Yeah! Zachy told me he'd buy me ice cream if I got full marks for my test!"
"I shouldn't have made that deal," Zachary smirked, nudging his brother playfully.
Oscar pouted and I laughed, offering to buy it for him.
"Really?! Thank you so much Dalanie!" He squealed and I couldn't resist to hug him again.
"You're good with kids," Zac winked, ran his fingers through his fine brown hair.
"And you're not," I said and flipped my hair while taking Oscar's hand, leading him to the shop.
Maybe I shouldn't have said that I didn't want to see any boys. Not all the boys are the same.

Oscar had his fill and wanted to go home to watch his cartoon, so Zachary brought him back while I stayed on in the shop and worked.
Just before the shop closed - around sunset - Ms Mindy came over and thanked me for a day's work before handing the keys to the shop over.
"I need to go off for a family event. You can operate the shop however long you want if you want," she smiled and left.
Smiling at her back, I pulled out a chair and sat down, resting my head on the table but not before locking the doors.
