They notified my mother of the situation. To say she was surprised and excited was an understatement.
She was like .....well lets just say the neighbors might not be able to hear anything for a while.........
She kept calling the school for the rest of the day asking how I was or if 'it' happened yet. Not that i minded, i love my mom. We have both gone through a lot together. To my she is one of the strongest women i know. Anyway back to the topic.....
Well let me explain what 'it' is. Its basically a growth spurt for our powers. So basically its like hitting puberty for powers ALL OVER AGAIN...... its just a little bit more painful (sometimes) and less embarrassing (sometimes). It can be painful and other times it can be relieving... peaceful.
In the end , it makes you feel like one word
Powerful
It is usually only painful for people who end up growing a tail or horns or wings. Things like that. The only thing is, if my power is already hard to control.... whats gonna happen when 'It' happens. Mrs. Lenere said im safe..... So maybe i can finally stop holding back. But im just scared of what would happen?

That's what I felt.
After thirty minutes of staring at the same page of the same book, in the same place iv been in the Library I decided to ask the Mrs. Lenere (principal) about my thoughts. I got up off the bean bag and stood up stretching. Then I set the book on the shelve and started walking out of the library.Looking at my phone I saw the time.
5:45
School ended a while ago. As I was looking at my phone for the time , I tripped on a rock, flying forwards. Suddenly instincts came over me, I curled myself into a ball, positioning my body forward before rolling and standing straight again. I looked down at myself confused. What just happened????
"Nice rebound" said a voice behind me.
I jumped and spun around in surprise. The source of the voice was a girl. She was about my height and had black long straight hair. She wore a kinda tight dress and leggings. She had bright blue grey eyes and a tattoo of a snowflake on her uperarm.
"Im Amanda, whats your name ?" she said.
"Im Alynna, nice to meet you" I smiled at her.
She smiled back which was a surprise because she seemed more of the " look at me for more then two seconds then I will hunt you down and kill you type" but all the same I was just happy for some company.
"What are you doing here this late ?" I asked her.
She laughed , " I could ask you the same question."
I laughed with her.
"So whats your power ?"she asked me.
" I control anything plantlike, flowers vines,trees, or even grass." I replied.
" That explains why the grass in the football field are like footprints" she laughed.
"They are ! Oh crap ill try and fix it later !" I replied. She laughed. " Anyway whats your power?" I asked her.
"I can do anything with water really , I can control water, frost and ice" she said.
" That's so cool !!!" I said
"Thanks !" she smiled. "Anyway I have to go but ill see ya around Alynna." she waved goodbye while walking away.
" Bye ! " I called after her.
I looked at my phone. It was 6:05. Wow ! Did we really talk for twenty minutes ! I looked and saw I had a message.

Hey ! How are you doing ? Are you ok ? Are you hungry? Do you want me to go bring you something to eat ? Has it happened yet ? Im just working myself up aren't I ! Your a strong beautiful young girl and I am so proud to have you as my daughter. I love you !!! <3

I am doing great mom and the principle brought me some food from chick-fil-a for later. Im heading over there now, No nothings happened yet other then making a new friend. Her names Amanda shes really cool :D and thanks mom I wouldnt be it without you ! Love you too !!!!
I pressed send. Then I continued walking to the principles office. The schools campus was really pretty. Very spacious and lots of plants and activities to do.Looking to my right I saw a huge willow tree. It was so beautiful.Without even realizing it I started walking towards it. I raised my hand towards it, touching the bark, feeling its energy inside of me.I closed my eyes as I focused my power making it grow sturdier and stronger. Opening my eyes I looked above me , laughing and smiling at how beautiful the tree looked.
"Very nice" I heard somebody say.
I gasped turning around in suprise. I sighed when I saw it was just Mrs. Lenere.
"Im sorry dear I came to tell you to come inside and eat before the food became too cold, but I saw you and I didn't want to interrupt you. Sorry I also didn't mean to suprise you either." she smiled apologetically towards me.
"Its alright I know you didn't mean to " I smiles at her.
" Well lets go back inside shall we ?" she asked.
I nodded.
