While we were walking back to the school, she looked back in my direction.
"There is no need to be nervous, like I said you'll be fine" she said glancing back giving me a reassuring smile.
I gave her a small smile and said "Right."
I followed her through the halls of the school until we got back to her office. She shuffled the papers on her desk then went and grabbed the Chick-Fil-a. She gestured for me to sit down in the seat on the opposite side of her desk. Reaching into the bag she pulled out a spicy chicken sandwich,a spicy southwest chicken salad, and fries. She handed me the sandwich and the fries.
"Thanks" I said taking a bite of the sandwich.
She smiled , then started eating her salad. We ate in silence ,although I didn't really mind. I needed sometime to think about everything that was going on. I got up and threw away my trash , once I was finished eating everything. I sat back down on the chair. It was silent for a couple of minutes, until I decided to end it by asking her
" Whats your power ?"
She smiled, " I have the power of Vector Manipulation"she replied. I looked at her confused. She laughed " that means that I can change the magnitude and direction of an object and make it do what ever I want, so if someone we to attack me, I can make the very thing they attacked me with, go and turn it on them, as well as the power of knowing when someones power is going to quicken and what there power is."
My eyes widen , " That's so cool !!!!!" I exclaimed.
She chuckled " thank you. "
I smiled. All of a sudden her smile went flat for a couple of seconds staring at me.
"what?"I asked.
She smiled " Your powers are about to quicken".
"what!!, like right now !!, like , right now ,now ?" I asked worried.
She laughed " like I said your going to be fine, now come" she beckoned her hand for me to follow her. We went do a couple of hallways. I was about to ask her where we are going when she stopped and headed to a plain white door. I followed her in and to my surprise I saw , what almost looked like, a .....bedroom ?? I quirked an eyebrow confusingly towards her.
"I figured you would want to be comfortable for when it starts , plus I can monitor you through that window right there" she replied.
"oh ok " smiling I went and sat on the bed, and man was it comfortable! Sighing I laid sprawled out on the bed watching the ceiling for a couple of seconds. Getting up on my elbows, I looked towards Mrs. Lenere.
"Well I will be in there" she pointed to the window which was were she told me she could monitor me earlier. I nodded. I wonder whats going to happen.....? What its gonna be like after my powers quicken. Would I get another power ? Would my original grow stronger ? Would I get a tail ? Or even wings like my mom ? All these questions raced through my head, and that's when it happened.
