Emily lowered her head again. "So that's what you should have said, but what about how you really feel?"
"Oh Emily, this has all come out wrong. I'm so happy for you. And I'm truly grateful that you trusted me with this, she paused. "Honestly."
Emily's face broke out into a huge smile as she crushed Aria in a hug. Thank you! I didn't know how you would react, but I still need to be honest with you about something else. Really you have no idea how much this means to me."
"I think I may some idea." Aria chuckled into her shoulder, and then pulled back, her eyes searched. " Is that everything you wanted to talk to me about?" Aria shuffled closer to Emily on the bed and took her hands. "Look Em that's who you are, it's clear you can't fight it so you might as well embrace it, I'm here if you ever need to talk."
"Do you really mean that?" Emily looked relieved, God, yes, would you-" she suddenly felt nervous. "Could you just listen and tell me if how Im feeling is crazy? I don't know what to think." Now that Aria had put her in a place of ease, Emily felt like she could open up to her further and tell her about the situation with Ali.
Aria nodded, "I'm here as long as you need me."
Little did Aria know Emily needed her a lot more than she'd let on. Yes she'd been honest with her about what happened between her and Ali but she knew at some point she'd have to tell her what's been playing on her mind recently. As much as she tried to she couldn't hide it any longer, could she?
