It was just her and Aria alone. By now it was around 10.30 pm.
"Look Em just between me and you I didn't want Hannah or spencer to stay here tonight either. I was kinda hoping we could have that chat, I can tell when something's on your mind you'v hardly spoke to me recently and Im starting to wonder if it's anything iv done to upset you"? Aria said while taking the last sip of her tea and leading Emily to the king size bed with all four of them should have been staying in.
As they both sat down Aria's hand settled on top of Emily's, sending her pulse rocketing."Emily come on now tell me your starting to worry me" Aria demanded with a slightly more stern voice.
The tall girl nodded and chewed on her lips as she contemplated on how to word what she was thinking. She couldn't just say it, could she? It's not like it was that easy. She frowned gently, the corners of her mouth moved with the weight she was bearing. "I-" she stumbled but then continued when Aria prompted her with a look. "I like girls. I like them but as more than friends. But not all girls. Only some of them. I like guys too. I think. I'm not really sure." Oh, God Emily thought to herself, make it stop. She looked away, eyes wide, when she heard Aria laugh. She blushed deeply. She turned her head up when the laughing stopped abruptly and she felt Arias hand move up from her hand and onto her inner arm.
Aria spoke softly to her, "I'm sorry, Em. That was totally uncool of me. I shouldn't have laughed. Mainly I was laughing at myself, I guess. I don't know how I didn't see it before."
Emily once agin felt herself tense up and he complexion begin to turn her copper skin into a red blush. She gasped at Aria. Had she really been that obvious? Sure she had her puppy crush on Ali, okay, she had been in love with Ali, but she and the girls hadn't been friends in years. How could Aria know anything? "How?" She finally breathed swiftly.
"You were always so protective of Ali; no wonder she called you killer"
Emily could start to feel her neck heat up, she ran her fingers through her hair and moved them down in an attempt to cool it. The heat was stifling. "Uh, yeah"
"Shit I did it again. This is what I should have said. I'm really happy for you, Em' Im glad you told me. It takes a lot of courage to tell me something so personal.
