"So why did you and Elena break up?" You questioned as Stefan stiffened slightly before shrugging.

"I-it just wasn't working." He shrugged awkwardly. "And it d-didn't feel n-natural." You nodded, remembering that Elena had said something along the same lines.

However to you it sounded like a cover up, they both seemed to stutter and get nervous when talking about it.

You start to speak again, however you're interrupted by a large jet black crow landing on the window sill. It scared you a bit as you smiled in amazement.

"What's it doing here." Your eyes widened as you approached the creature, it stated straight at you.

"Stop y/n, just don't." Stefan almost shouted, making you jump and raise an eyebrow at him as he realised how random he had just been.

You frowned and looked at the crow that was staring directly at you again, it seemed so strange for it to come this close to people without being scared.
