You just roll your eyes and go over to the bird on the window sill. It stays still as you approach it, as if pausing to look at you in particular. It never once looked in Stefan's direction, you held out a hand towards it although you didn't know what you were planning to do.

However it suddenly squawks loudly which startles you. You huff and close the window so that it can't get in before going back to your space at the table.

"Okay you two can go now." The teacher walks in and says. "Just don't forget your homework again." She snaps as you both made your way to the door, the school was already nearly empty. Stefan was already out the door and you followed, trying to keep up, however when you emerge into the empty corridor he's nowhere to be seen. Up ahead you see a dark figure enter one of the classrooms, causing you to frown.
