You wonder around, looking behind trees and squinting in the growing darkness. Searching for any sigh that Stefan was here, he wouldn't do this as a joke would he?

As if you didn't have enough things to confuse you. You were trying to work out if these feelings for Stefan were suddenly being shadowed by the new memories that Damon had made you forget. It just didn't process in your head that you'd basically spent your entire summer with Damon and became one of his best friends, yet you forgot.

Up ahead something moves and catches your eye, you see Stefan and call out to him.

"Hey y/n." He sees you and smiles. "I ugh- I have something important to tell you." His smile fades as he suddenly becomes nervous, causing you to frown.
