Chapter 17

1 month later ..

⚜Alexander's POV⚜

Let's catch up with a few things that happened in the last month.

I'm still dating annoying Gigi, Amberly has a thing with that new guy, Tyler. Dylan and Bethany started dating and Michael and Brandy have a thing. EVERYONE'S LIFE IS GREAT BUT MINE!

"Gigi?" I said as I shook her awake. "What?" She groaned. "Wake up." I said as I stood up. "Five more minutes." She said as she stretched. "No! I'm gonna be late to work and you're still here." I said as I fixed my hair. "I'll leave later." She said as she yawned. "No Gianna." I said as I pulled the covers off of her. "It's cold!" She shouted as she pulled the sheets over herself again. "I don't care, get out of my bed." I said as I pulled the sheets off again. "Worse boyfriend ever." She murmured as she sat up. "Hey, you know what? You're right," I said as I grabbed her clothes and stuffed them in her bag. "Maybe you should go look for a better one."

"Alex!" She moaned as I threw her bag on her lap. "What?" I said as I turned around and put on my cap. "I don't mean it." She said as she climbed out of bed. "Well I do," I said as I turned around and pushed her out of my way. "Bye." I continued as I grabbed her bag and gave it to her. "You're such a jerk." She said as she pushed me. "I'll show you a jerk." I said as I grabbed her bag out of her hands and threw it out of my window. "Alex!" She shouted. "Get out." I said as I grabbed her arm and walked her out of my house. "I'm not even well dressed." She said as she stood out of my house. "You've never been." I said as I shut my door. "I hate you Alexander Gomez!" She shouted as she banged on my door. "And you will regret this!"

"What's all that yelling going on outside?" My mom said as she stepped out of her room. "Probably a goat." I said as I walked into the kitchen. "A goat?" She chuckled. "Yeah mom." I said as I took a bite out of my apple.

"I'll see you later, okay." I said as I kissed her cheek. "Okay baby, bye." She replied as she stepped back into her room.

I made my way into my car, really hard to avoid Gigi but I managed to and drove off to Subway, where I work.

I got there in about eight minutes.

"You're here!" Brandy said as she opened her arms for a hug. "I am." I said as I kissed her cheek.

No, I don't like her. Me and Brandy work together, she's my best friend. I love her as a best friend. We're real close but she belongs to Michael.

"I'll be in the back if you need me." She said as she walked away. "Okay." I replied as I watched her leave.

• Amberly's POV •

"Lily!" My mom shouted from downstairs. "Yes mom?" I shouted back from the restroom. "Alexander's mom called." She said. I spit the water out of my mouth. "What?" I squealed as I ran out of the restroom.

"She said if you can babysit Carla meanwhile she leaves to work." She said as I walked downstairs. "But today is Saturday." I stomped my feet. "Why can't her son take care of his sister?!"

"Because he's working too." She said as she sat on the couch. "Fine." I said as I rolled my eyes. "But!" She said as she stopped me. "Alexander is only working for a little while today."

"So when he gets home, I can come home?" I said excited. "Yep." She said as she nodded. "Do I have to take Mary?" I asked. "If you want to." She said as she smirked.

I ran upstairs and went into Mary's room. "Maaryy." I said as I slid into her bed. "Hi." She said as she smiled. "Do you want to go to Carla's house?" I asked as I smiled widely. "Yes!" She shouted as she jumped up and down on her bed. "Okay, get ready so we can go." I said as I stood up and walked away.

I put on my shoes and fixed my pants then I walked over to Mary's room to see if she was ready, but she wasn't in her room.

"Mary?!" I called out as I walked downstairs. "I'm over here!" She shouted as I walked over to the kitchen. She was sitting there, eating an apple. "Let's go." I said as I swung my bag over my arm. "Okay." She smiled as she interlocked her fingers into mine.

"Alexander might almost be here." Carla said as she looked at the clock, hanging over the front door. "When he gets here, I'll have to leave." I said as I switched the channel. Carla and Mary awed.

"I'll ask my mom if you can stay." I told Mary. "Alright." She smiled.

"We're gonna play dolls in my room." Carla said as she grabbed Mary's arm and ran upstairs.

I rested my head on a pillow and closed my eyes. I began to think about Alexander. I miss him, I love him...but I don't want to, I also don't want to date Tyler anymore. It's not that I don't like him, he's a cool guy and he's cute but I still have feelings for Alexander..

My heart began to race, I had the feeling that Alexander was near. I need him, I want him, I love him, I miss him. Alexander.

A tear rolled down my cheek, but I wiped it away quickly. I didn't want to seem as if I was crying.

After, about fifteen more minutes, Alexander came home.

"Amberly." He said as he walked inside. "Hi." I said as I smiled. "I have to tell you something."

"What is it?" He asked. "I-um-your mom wanted you to pay me." I said. I can't tell him I like him! I,I can't.

"Oh," he said as he reached into his pocket and took out his wallet. "How much?" He asked.

"Twenty." I said as I looked at him as he pulled out fifty bucks. "Here." He said as he handed them to me. "This is fifty." I said, as I handed it back to him. "You can pay me later." He said as he smiled. "Alright." I said as I put the money in my bag. I turned around to call Mary but I was pulled back, into a kiss.
