Ch. 20

Chapter 20

Amberly's POV

"I swear it will be fun!" Bethany shouted through the phone. "I don't know if I can." I replied as I paced back and forth in my room. "Well let me know ASAP." She said as I looked down and hung up.

The guys want to go to Disneyland but I'm not so sure if I want to.

I walked downstairs and went into the living room. I sat next to my mom, in silence. She looked at me and turned off the tv.

"What do you need, hun?" She smiled. "My friends want to go to Disneyland but I don't know if you'd let me." I said as I shrugged. "Why wouldn't I?" She asked in concern. "Of course you can go!" She smacked my back, which hurt.

"Uh, really?" I unbelievably asked. "Yes!" She smiled widely. "Thanks mom." I said as I hugged her.

I went up to my room and called Beth.

"Come on, pick up." I said to myself as the phone rang in my ear.

"Heya!" She answered. "I can go." I simply said. "Great! I'll let the others know." She said, then hung up.

I threw my phone on my bed and jumped into my closet.

"What to wear..what to wear." I said to myself as I looked through my jackets and blouses.

Then I finally came along a navy blue blouse that would go just perfect with my ripped jeans.

I pulled it out of my closet and threw it on my bed. I also picked out a nice white cardigan that was just by the side of it, and threw it on my bed as well.

I hopped over my bed, to my drawer and got my ripped jeans out. I looked under my bed for my black vans, and got them out.

After I was done changing, I felt like I needed something else and it was a hat that I needed.

I grabbed a light brown hat that I got from a play that I was in, while I was a sophmore. It had a black bow around it, made it look fancy.

Once I was done with my whole outfit, I called Bethany to pick me up.

"Just go with Alexander." She said through the phone.

"Fine." I said as I smiled and hung up.

I walked downstairs to the living room, and my mom was doing her hair.

"You look beautiful." I told her.

"You look beautiful as well." She replied with a smile.

"Well I'm leaving with my friends, already." I said as I walked closer to her. I bent down and gave her a kiss on her cheek. "Bye love." She replied.

I walked over to Alex's house.

Knock knock. Open up. Who's there? Amberly. Amberly who? Amberly the one you love.. Just kidding.

"Hey there." He said as the door swung open. "Hi." I said as I smiled, toothy. "Ready to leave?" He asked as he smiled widely. "Been ready." I replied.
