Chapter 1.
Amberly's POV.
"Alexander, come here!" I shouted as I chased around my boyfriend with a water balloon in my hand. "No, you have to come catch me." He shouted as he ran to the other side of my backyard with a bucket in his hand, half way full. "Stop it! Come here." I whined as he made a pouty face to mock me. "You get on my freaking nerves!" I said as I rolled my eyes and made my way to the door to enter my house.
"Do I?" He asked as I turned around to say something but he totally ruined that when he threw me the water from his bucket. "Alexander!" I shouted as I ran after him but totally made a fool of myself when I tripped in the grass and splashed my balloon on my stomach. What a fail. I was trying to hurt him but I totally hurt myself by falling because I was running after a boy.
"Hey, I guess it's true what they say." I said as I looked up at him while he smirked as he wanted to laugh but did not. "What do they say?" He asked as he walked closer to me to help me up from the grass. "Girls always fall when they're running after boys." I said as he stopped walking and stood in front of me, looking down at me.
"Get up." He said as he grabbed my hand and lifted me up. "You told me to get up but you picked me up." I chuckled as rubbed my knees because of the wet grass. "Want me to drop you and you get up on your own?" He asked as he put his hand on my back and pushed me a little. "No cause if you drop me, I'm not getting up. I'm just gonna lay there." I said as I walked away from him and to the door where I was before he wet me. "Let's go shower." He said as he walked behind me. "Let's?" I asked, confused and looked back at him. "Okay fine, me first then you." He said as he shoved me to the side as he ran passed me and upstairs.
"You're stupid." I chuckled as I ran behind him and ran passed him and into my room. "Oh, and you're so smart." He said as he rolled his eyes and walked into my room. Slam. The door shuts.
"I'd love to make out with you right now but I need to shower." I said as I grabbed my underwear, bra, shorts, crop top and my towel. "Okay, I'm going home." He said as he grabbed his backpack from the ground, by my bed and walked out of my room then looked back at me as he stood there.
"Are you coming later?" I asked as he smirked and thought about it. "Possibly." He said as he smiled then walked closer to the stairs. "Okay, just let me know." I said as I turned on the light of the bathroom and stepped inside. "I will baby." He said as he began to walk downstairs. "Bye!" I shouted as he waved his hand and smiled. I love this kid, he's my favorite person alive! The best part is that he lives right next door. Our rooms are right next to each other and in the night, we sit in the window talking until we both get really tired and go to bed. And that's an everyday tradition that can never be stopped no matter how mad we become to each other. We're both stubborn and very wild. We sometimes scare each other because he thinks it's okay to talk to girls and I think it's okay to hang out with guys. But deep inside we both know what we do is wrong, and that's what makes us a great team. Joking! He tries to get me jealous with ugly, donkey looking girls from our school but he always fails because he really loves me!

My little sister, Mary and Alexander's little sister, Carla are the best of friends! They're the same age and the same height! It's crazy and unbelievably adorable. My mom and his mom are also very close its like we're meant to be.
"Psst!" I heard from my window. I got up and carefully walked to my window. I pulled the curtains open and there was Alexander in his window just staring at me with his big, wide, juicy smile.
"What?" I giggled as he threw a bag of chips into my window. "Oh." I said as I looked down at them and smiled. "Do you like chips?" He asked, quietly as he leaned further out of his window. "Duh." I chuckled as I shook my head. "Okay good." He said as he smiled and leaned back into his window. "I'm going to Dylan's house." He whispered as he looked down from his window as a car pulled up to his driveway. I'm guessing that's Dylan. "Okay, have fun babe." I said as I reached for my curtain and closed it.
I plopped down on my bed and grabbed a book from my shelf that's right next to my bed. In Her Shoes. I bought this book not so long ago, but I haven't gotten a chance to look at it until now.

I found myself waking up around 10:00 in the night, with a book over my chest and chips by my side. I closed the book and put in my shelf, I grabbed the chips and put them on top of my shelf and maybe eat them tomorrow.
I got up from bed and made my way out and down the stairs. I walked down quietly so I wouldn't wake up my little sister or mom. My mom is a heavy sleeper but Mary isn't. Once she wakes up, she cries and cries and I do not want to deal with that all night..although I might not sleep.
I grabbed some cookies and a glass of milk so I can sleep.
I went back into my room and turned on my lamp so I can see a little better in the night, since my room was really dark.
I ate my cookies and milk and after that I went into my bed and tried real hard to fall asleep but I couldn't then all of a sudden a note came flying threw my window. I got out of bed to pick it up and read it.
"Hey there beautiful, I'm sorry that I didn't get time to talk to you in the night today, I just got really busy-"
"Wake up!" Said a loud voice as it shook me and shook me. "Five more hours." I said as I covered my eyes with the palm of my hands and turned over. "Amberly, get up!" Shouted my mom as she took off my blanket. Cold.
"I was having a good dream!" I whined and groaned. "Come on, you're going to be late for school." She said as she walked out of my room and left my door completely open. Now I have no choice then to get up and close it.
I can't believe I was interrupted from such a good dream. I was dating Alexander. No, but my mom had to come and ruin it. I wish I was dating Alexander, but he's a bad boy and a man whore. One can only dream.
