"The last time I did this kind of job, I wasn't paid much enough. Now I have to deal with a werewolf that can't get herself a mate."

My boss frowned at me. He was under the impression that i didn't have much tact. The truth is : Idon't.
That frown, my colleagues believe it's reserved for me.
Who says I'm not special?
I raised my eyebrow to show interest.

"Okay. How long will it take?"

"It won't take longer than a full moon. The issue isn't so much that she can't choose a mate ,but she won't."

I signed. "It kills me to say this,but this person, has she taken a look at my love life?"

"Since she doesn't want your advice, it shouldn't be a problem. And let me tell you something, she's not paying for your attitude. Just go in there, do a little love spell to get this thing going and leave."

"By 'this thing' do you mean helping her perform well in bed? Because that's a different spell and it will damn cost extra."

He took a deep breath and looked out the window,no doubt he is far from me. He was too easy to irritate. Fortunately, I'm a witch in a two state area. So my personality literally can't get me fired.

"Okay. Here is the file. You are expected to show up tomorrow. How does that work for you?"

"The full moon is four days away! What the heck am I going to get done in four days? I thought you meant next month."

"She wants you there now.", my boss said flatly. Then he turned his shiny bald head back to his computer screen.

I gave him a sarcastic salute and left. Where the hell was I going?
