Phil's POV:
-Come on! It's just snow!- she says as she steps out of the cabin we rented for a week.

We wanted to spend New Year's Eve alone. Together.

-It's cold, get back inside!- I shout at her.

Her answer is a snowball thrown at my face.

I flinch, wiping the snow out of my face, shivering out of the sudden cold.

-Oh, so it's gonna be like this, isn't it?- I ask defiantly, stepping out of the house, closing the door.

She laughs and hides immediately as I crouch down to grab some snow.

The coldness of the snow makes my fingers shake, but I ignore it. Shaping the snow into a perfect sphere, I get up and start looking for her.

-Clem!-I shout. Her name is Clementine. We've been together for a year now.

We met on a Christmas party last year. While everyone was drunk and kind of insane, we were the two only kind-of-sober people.

-So I'm not the only one that is not completely intoxicated- she said to me.

-Nope, you aren't- I answered.

-Good to know- she said- I'm Clementine.

-Phil- I introduced myself.

-So what brings you into this hellhole of drunkness?- she asked, smiling.

I pointed at Dan, making out with some girl in a corner of the dance floor.

-That's my best friend- I said.

-Slightly intoxicated-She answered.

-Very intoxicated-I said, smiling at her.

I looked at her for a second. She was wearing a blue tank top and a black skirt. Her hair was black and long, falling like a waterfall onto her back in big curls. Her skin was tanned, her features were sharp and beautiful. Her eyes almost black, like a black hole.

She wasn't like the other girls in the party. She was imperfect, just like me.
We were imperfect in comparison to the world.

-Where are you?!- I shout again, walking with silent footsteps.

I hear a noise coming from a bush behind me. I turn around quickly.
I walk slowly towards the bush. And I'm not that surprised when a hand comes out of it and smashes a snowball on my face.

I gasp and back up. When I wipe the snow out of my eyes, she's already running the opposite way, laughing.
I grab some snow again, and run after her.

-You'll never catch me!-she shouts.

-We'll see about that!-I shout back, knowing that she's right. She's always been faster.

-Come on! We're late- she said, as we ran through the busy London streets.

-Wait for me!- I answered. She was faster for two reasons. One: Being the best at athletics during high school. And two: Surprisingly, she's taller than me. She's the same height as Dan. Longer legs go faster.

I keep running towards her, trying not to stumble across a rock or something. Clumsiness is worse at faster speeds.

-Come on, turtle!- she shouts, throwing another snowball, that I fortunately dodge.

She mumbles a cuss word. I can finally catch up, and I throw the first snowball. It hits between her shoulder blades.

She turns around and throws another one, and I dodge it again. The snows dissolves after crashing against a tree.
She tries to start running again, but I jump on top of her, both falling onto the cold floor.

We're both out of breath. Her cheeks are noticeably red, even with her tanned skin. It may be because the physical exercise, or because I'm on top of her. Maybe both.

The two of us are panting, gasping for air, but we're smiling at each other.

-I caught you- I say, almost whispering.
Her legs intertwine with mine, and her arms are now around my neck.

-Like in our five month anniversary.-she says, with a cheeky smirk.

-You're slow as fuck!-she screams when we enter my apartment. She runs upstairs.

-No I'm not!-I answered. I ran after her,and she goes inside my bedroom.

I ran, and crashed into her, both falling onto my bed.

She smiled at me, catching my lips into a soft kiss. I wrapped my arms around her waist. Minutes later, I slammed the door closed.

That doesn't mean that Dan didn't hear us.

At dinner, he didn't mention anything, but he winked at me, and then slightly pointed her head towards her.

-So you had fun guys?- he asked, looking specifically at me.

I kicked his feet under the table. That only confirmed his suspicions.

-But there's no Dan now- I say, smiling.

She just winks.

-Let's go back-she says.
I nod.
And one hour later we're both under the covers. She's asleep, and my arm is wrapped around her bare back.
Her eyelids flutter open.

-Phil?-she asks in a whisper.

-Yeah?- I answer.

-You're a perfect imperfection.-she says.

-We both are- I say, as I move a piece of her hair out of her face.

She smiles.

-I'm hungry-I say.

-But you just ate...-she says, smiling cheekily.

It takes me a minute to realise what she meant.

She bursts out laughing. My face turns red.

-Oh my God-she says between laughs.

-Shut up- I say, pushing her shoulder.

She calms down after a minute. She still smiles, and my face is still red.

I get up and get changed. She does the same. But she smirking at me.

-Stop or I'll throw another snowball at you.-I say.

-Shut up, beautiful imperfection-she says.

We both laugh.

I don't know if we're perfect. I don't know if we're perfect together.
But it sure does feel like it.
