Lasalie POV
I turned around at the question. 5 Seconds of Summer were sitting above me grinning. I blushed a dark red and spoke up. "No, I just decided that I would pay 200 plus dollars on tickets for no reason. Sorry, I'm really sarcastic," before they could answer, the boys were cut off. "Well, look at that, I actually found it. Here is your contact miss." I pulled my case out and put it in. I pulled out a new one and replaced it. "What's your name?" I turned back to the boys. Michael looked at me waiting for me to answer. "I'm Lasalie." He nodded and grinned widely. He beckoned Jesse over and they talked quietly. Jesse nodded and told me to come over to the fence. He lifted under my arms before I could ask what was happening. He put me on the stage and Luke helped me keep my balance.
"We noticed you in the crowd yelling odd things." Calum snickered. I blushed harder than I had before. "That was not me. My friend was the one doing that." Calum smirked and nodded. "So where is this 'friend' of yours?" "She's gone to get food. Wasn't allowed to stand around." They nod at me and laugh. "So, you really think Michael is 'hot as fuck'?" Luke asked. "I think she's hot as fuck." Calum sniggered again. "I think we should all shut—you think I'm hot?" Calum winked and I rolled my eyes. "Great meeting you guys but I really need to go find my friend."
Michael stood up and grabbed my arm. "Here, I'll come with." I nodded and he walked backstage somewhere. I looked after him and furrowed my eyebrows. He came back a moment later with two pairs of sunglasses and new clothes on. He put on a pair of the glasses and handed me the other. He positioned the hat on his head lower down and placed one on my head backwards. I looked at him questioningly and followed after him.
"Stay near me at all times in case someone realizes who I am. I'm going to hold onto you so that we don't lose each other because you will not be able to get backstage then. I'll follow you when you see her." I nod again and lead the way when we get out into the open. I look over peoples heads for Heidi. I held onto Michael's hand and pulled him through the sea of people. I look at every food stand and at the faces of the crowd. I look at the merch and through the faces in line. I pulled Michael through everyone and he kept conversation.
I thought about it and decided to ask as I spotted Heidi far away at a snow cone place. What would it hurt to ask him? "Are you and Crystal still dating?" He laughed and I stopped walking so I could look at him and hear what he said clearly. "No, broke up with that annoying girl a couple weeks ago. Surprised no one knows yet." I smiled and grabbed his wrist before pulling him along to where Heidi was. I waited to the side until she ordered two snow cones and then grabbed her.
"Hey, did you find your lenses?" She jogged to keep up with my quick stride. "Who is the guy?" I kept walking and made sure that she kept up. "I did find my contact. You'll see who the guy is in a little bit. Keep up." I grabbed her arm so that her short legs could keep up. "Where are we going?" She asked me every second she found possible. Michael held onto my hand tightly and led the way. "Shut up. Just wait." Heidi nodded and tried to stay quiet. We finally got to the back entrance of the stage.
I took off the sunglasses that Michael gave me and handed them back. He took off his hat and glasses and went to put them away. "Do you want to keep the hat for now?" I touched the hat on my head and nodded. "T-t-that's Michael Clifford." Heidi said, eyes the size of the moon and stuttered continuously. Michael laughed as he walked off. "Really? Well, damn, I thought his name was James." She was still wide-eyed. As Michael jogged back to my side and we walked to where the boys were sitting. "Calum, this is my friend, Heidi." She looked at them all and stopped on Ashton. I smiled at her face. She wore a smile that went from ear to ear as she looked at him. "If you couldn't tell, she fancies you." He smiled back at her. "Nice to meet you-" "Heidi" "Nice to meet you, Heidi."
He stood up and gave her a hug. We all sat down and talked for a little while. I talked to Ashton about drumming and how far I had came along and Heidi talked to Michael about guitar. "That's so cool! So you've been playing for 10 years?" I looked over to Michael, Luke and Heidi. "Yeah, but it's not that interesting. Laz can play almost every instrument." I looked down and blushed. "What do you play?" Calum asked. "Oh, Uh I play drums, guitar, ukulele, piano, bass, and violin. It's not impressive though. Heids is acting like I'm amazing but if you want to see amazing watch her play."
They all looked over at her. "What instruments do you play?" Calum asked her. "I play guitar, piano, trumpet, and Lasalie is trying so very hard to teach me drums. I don't have rhythm." She laughed and looked at me. "That's so cool! You two should start a band. You could be like a-a new Twenty-One Pilots!" Ashton grinned as he looked between us and his eyes stopped on Heidi.
"Funny you should mention. We already are a band. We play small local gigs some." I say and they look at us with more excitement. "What is you band named?" Heidi looked at me and smiled. "We don't really know. We've been a band for over two years but can't decide between 'Mystic' or 'Lilac.'" They nodded and we continued to talk about music. "Is there any food here? I'm so hungry." I say. Michael stands and helps me up along with him. We walk over to a table that has boxes and boxes of pizza.
"So what are you guys doing after the concert tonight?" Michael asks as we take our pizza to his dressing room."Nothing, really. We have to find a last minute hotel plan." We sat down on the couch and I took a sip of my drink. "You can stay at our hotel. We have two rooms with two beds in each." I shook my head. "No, we can't possibly do that. That's taking up your space and everything. If there are rooms at the same hotel we will stay there though." The pizza they had picked up for the bands was so good. "No, I insist. Let Heidi stay with Ashton. He totally has a thing for her." Good to know. I pulled out my phone and sent her a text letting her know they details. She replied immediately with 'what the hell no he doesn't' I put my phone away and continued to eat. "So, tell me about yourself. I know nothing about you." I thought about it. I guess I'm interesting enough to tell him about me.
"Um, well you already know my name. I'm 20 years old and I take online classes. I'm in a band and play different instruments. I'm originally from Washington State but my family moved here to California when I was around 7. I've been friends with Heidi since I was 9. I'm into art and painting, drawing, whatever. I like bands like 5SOS, Weezer, occasionally Pierce the Veil or Sleeping with Sirens, Panic! and others. I'm an only child. I'm not that interesting I thought I had more to say." Michael laughed and sat his plate down. He swung his legs over onto my lap.
I looked at him. "What are you doing?" He shrugged. "Getting comfortable." I pushed his legs off my lap and put my legs in his lap. He rolled his eyes and pushed my legs off too. "See, it's annoying."
