Lasalie POV

I woke to singing from the living room. As I push out of bed I catch a glimpse of my hair. It was sticking in every direction but I ignored it. Once in the living room it is visible that Heidi started the singing and the boys joined her. Michael continued to sing as he walked over and picked me up. Once their little singing stage was over, I was let down. "Good thing you woke up. We have an hour and a half until Heidi's family." Calum grins and Heidi hands me something. It was my glasses. I put them on my face and look around.

"Did you run out of contacts Laz?" She asks me. I shrug and try to remember. I took out contacts last night but couldn't remember if I had a fresh pair or not. "Guess we will see when I get ready." Ashton tosses me a wash cloth and towel. "Go get a shower, lazy head. We've each had a shower already." I nod and head to the bathroom. The shower wasn't a long one because there wasn't a lot of time. I pull out the dress from my closet that Michael bought last week. The next thirty minutes were spent applying makeup.

There was a black pair of booties in the corner that went well with the dress and I slipped them on. I grab the keys on the counter in the kitchen and head to the car where the others were waiting. Sliding into the drivers seat, I twist the key in and wait for the engine to start. The pedal was pressed down by my foot and the car sped up. It was close to 11:30 and we were lucky that Heidi's dad's home wasn't far.

The boys were laughing and fighting in the back seat and Heidi was singing beside me. I felt my phone buzz from the console and I stole a glance at it. It was my mother asking if we were still coming. Heidi grabbed it and answered for me. "I told her that the boys were still coming. She said she was super excited to meet your boyfriend!" I roll my eyes as I pull behind a red convertible. I roll the top up as the boys unbuckle and pull the gifts from the floorboard. Heidi and I get out and lift the front seats of my car up and get the presents from them. We sit them on the ground and then I reach for Ashton's hand so he can get leverage. He pulls himself out and I go in to help out Michael.

Once we had the presents and were on the porch, Ashton reached to ring the bell. Heidi's dad opens the door and grins at us. "Heidi! Lasalie! Daughters' boyfriend and friends!" Jeremy called and we walked in. We bent over to put the gifts for them under the tree and sat on the couch. Jeremy came back and Heidi stood up. She wrapped her arms around his neck and he comes to me next. "Missed my adopted daughter too! Heidi got a superstar boyfriend she's loved since she was fifteen and so do you!" I laugh and sit back down beside Mike. He grabs my hand and whispers. "I'm sorry. I've never asked you out yet."

I shake my head and tell him I don't mind. "Daddy, this is Ashton. Well, you already know who they all are but anyways. Ashton, this is my daddy." The other boys snicker and I looked at Mike again. He leans closer. "Ashton has a daddy kink." I laugh along with them. So that was true. They shake hands and sit back down. Heidi's step-mother waves at us and we wave back. We're called to come get our food and sit around at the different large tables. Through the line of food we were greeted by aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, cousins, grandparents, and parents. Michelle, Heidi's step-mother, comes over and greets the boys as we make our way to the table.

"Hurt my daughter and the one that I basically gave birth to and I will hurt you." She warns them then laughs and smiles at us. We eat as much as we can and watch television. The boys go outside to play football. We go out to watch them and it is hysterical. They have no clue what they are doing because when 'football' was mentioned, they thought we were talking soccer. After hours of opening presents and eating and socializing, we had to head to my mothers. Before I can get out of the car and up to the porch good, My step-dad opened the door.

He had a grin on his face and my mother peaks out from under his arm. "Lasalie Rose! My God I missed you so much!" She runs to me and takes the presents from all of our hands. She hands the pile of gifts to my dad and he takes them in the house. The door is open as my grandma came to lean in it. Her daughter came up behind her and I rolled my eyes to myself. This side of my family was annoying to say the least. I loved them all but I could not stand my grandma or her daughter anymore. The only reason I liked them in the first place was because of my grandfather but once he passed I did not care to stay in touch.
