Lucas and I walk back into my hospital room to find Maya.
"Peaches, it's so good to see you!" I tell her whist giving her a hug.
"How do you remember me?" She asks me
"I just do, it came naturally..."
I turn to face Lucas and he looked quite disappointed but happy for maya.
"I'll leave you two to catch up...I'll see you later Riley...." Lucas said.
I replied "yeah see you later" and as soon as that he left the room.
"I've missed you"
"I've missed you too Riley. He's been here everyday you know for the past two months. He refused to leave." Maya replied which got me two thinking, at this point Lucas is a mystery but I want to read on and see what happens is that such a bad thing...
"He seems mysterious... Has he ever been like that?" I ask her.
"Yeah, we all used to hang out when we were in middle school but something happened over the summer and it changed Lucas"
"I remember pretty much everything but him and my relationship with him. It's like he wasn't even in my life then popped up last minute.... Isn't it crazy..."
"Riles maybe it's a part of you're brain... Do you remember Charlie Gardener?"
"No, never heard of him"
Mays muttered something to herself and I couldn't hear what she was saying .
"Riles, I have to go I have an important thing. Yeah"
She soon rushed out of the room not saying goodbye. It left me wondering what does she know?
