How did I not notice that Zay was describing Maya's appearance, for some reason he forgot it was here. To be honest Zay left in senior year I think he always had a small crush on Maya but she never really noticed it.

There are a few things that need to be cleared up before Zay even turns up; 1.Has Maya noticed him and number 2. What happened with Josh.

"Peaches!" I shouted over to Maya.

"Hey I'm sorry about earlier I really couldn't-" she stopped midway sentence because of all the emotion that was running through her body.

"It's ok I mean I understand but you've got to tell me what happened..."

"Well he was cheating on me and I think well there is this guy who comes here ,he's always looking at me from that table over there" she said pointing to a table.

"He might be at the party tonight?." I suggested, I didn't think she would buy me lying because she knows when I'm lying but it seemed she bought it.

"I highly doubt that it's only family and friends, right... I don't known he might be a friend of Nathan's" she said and walked into the room where the party was being held.

"Luke what are we going to do..." I asked him.

"I don't know princess, I'm surprised they didn't know each other. Zay has had a crush on her ever since she sat next to him when you were getting drenched with water after that he didn't feel like an outsider..."

"I guess she's been so fixed on Josh she totally forgot about Zay and dodged any sign of him flirting with her so in the end she could be with josh, which didn't turn out well."

"I guess so" he replied

"And Lucas."

"Yeah"

"Don't get too drunk tonight.." I said walking away.

"The things you do to me!" He shouted and I giggled.

As I walked into the party there were lights everywhere, I walk over to Avery and gave her a hug and wished her a happy birthday.

I then walk over to the drinks table to get some punch which is hopefully not spiked. I finish pouring the punch into the beaker and when I turned around I see Lucas staring at me then we both look to the left. The one thing we knew would happen tonight happened.
