"Daddy will I ever get a girlfriend" Levi said looking up at me.
"Of course bubba, but just remember it is okay if you have a boyfriend and mummy and me will support you okay."
"No one likes me in my class and I just feel like I'll never get a girlfriend, why aren't I good enough daddy?"Levi asked me.
"I didn't meet your mommy until I was 13 bubba, and when I did, I didn't know that she was going to be the best thing that ever happened to me."
"Daddy, but the girl what I like hates me, she says I'm rude and I'm not. Mommy never hated you like Maddison hates me." Levi said looking down again.
"Levi, listen to me. If you really like this girl you fight for her. You get her chocolates and flowers. When she is upsets look after her and see if everything is okay. Most importantly be yourself because people love it best when yourself." I told him.
"Okay daddy I love you." He said and walked back to play with his toys.
"I love you too bubba"
Riley is currently at a writing session with some artists, she writes songs for artists as her job now. I am a veterinarian but I have the day off to look after Levi.
I start cooking dinner for us all so Riley has something to look forward to when she gets home.
After about 20 minutes of cooking I heard the door open and close.
"Lucas!Levi! I'm home" Riley shouts.
"What is that amazing smell?" Riley asked while she was walking into the kitchen.
" I decided to cook pasta and meatballs so you had something nice to come to when you came in." I told her.
"This sounds cliché but walking home and seeing you and Levi's face everyday makes my life a whole lot better."
"Bubba where are you?" Riley shouts.
"I'm here mommy" Levi says hugging her while I plate dinner up.
I love my little family. If it was up to me I would like to have four kids but I think that three would be enough.
I am so grateful for everything, Riley, Levi and two healthy twin babies. I could of not asked for a better life.
