People say that hearts can be wrong but something is telling me that Riley's the one.

I know it sounds stupid but I can't stop thinking about it. I've had strong feelings for her since the summer and they won't go away no matter how hard I try.

The party ended about 2 hours ago and I can't get to sleep. Riley is back home and not in the dorm we share because she's just come out of hospital and she hasn't emotionally recovered form the accident.

I want to see her. I want to tell her how I really feel. I want her to remember me... but that's one thing she can't seem to do. Remember me.

It hurts more then when she was in the coma because I didn't know if she knew me but she could have died.

Before I could even process what was happening I was getting in the car and driving straight to her house.

I climbed up the bay window to see Riley there staring at something in her room. I knocked on the window, she jumped probably scared then let me in.

"Lucas it's like 3 am! Why are you awake?" She asked me as I sat on her bay window.

"I couldn't get to sleep" I told her.

"So you decided to come through my window"

"Yep but mainly because I wanted to ask you something..."

"What if i wasn't awake what would you have done then watch me sleep." She asked me.

"Probably yeah, but that's not the point." I replied and she laughed.

"Riley I'm sorry in advance but I can't hold this in anymore."

Before she could reply I grabbed her face and kissed her passionately and she kissed back.

She pulled away amazed and said, "You're Lucas friar, from Austin, Texas. You want to be a veterinarian, we went to Disney land together. I broke up with you because felt like it would just be for the summer and because of all the pressure from collage and I love you." She replied.

"You remember" I stammered.

"Yeah" she replied simply.

I picked her up and spun her around squeezing her.

"I love you so much Riley Matthews I could marry you right now!"
