Trace was ready for a fight. I saw it in him. But there was something in his cold brown eyes that screamed out fear.
"Trace. Don't." I whispered but he glowered at the guy, hate in his stare. "No. These people are getting in my last nerves."
"Such bravery." The guy softly spoke and he took another step. "But are you really going to punch a synthetic down?"
Trace glanced over to me and I gave him a pale look. Maybe this was a bad idea. Maybe I should've stayed with Coast. But I didn't trust him as well. I don't trust anybody in this world anymore.
I swallowed and out of nowhere, bolted away, away from both the synthetic and Trace. I felt a small smile of bravery cross my face and I let out a crazy-like giggle, glancing back at them. Trace stared at me like I was crazy and the other guy quickly grabbed him. I didn't feel any sympathy. Instead, I felt alive. The wind hit my face as I faced ahead, running. I was proud of myself. Finally.
I stopped and noticed a building. It was very poor and old and it looked fimiliar. I looked around then finally open the door. The place was dark and dusty and I gasped. A little girl stood there, eyes blood red. She hissed as the light from outside emerge from the door. Her skin was covered in mud and dirt and her clothes were rags. Her boots were torned and her blonde hair was dirty. It held leaves and a twig.
She quickly jumped on top of the fireplace and hissed once again, flicking long claws out. She sqat like a frog and glowered down at me as I walked up to her.
"K-Kry?"
She tensed and yelled crazily and her echo bounced against the walls. I winced and she growled lightly, black liquid draining down her mouth.
"Kry..are you okay? It's me...Flag. Remember?"
Another hiss escaped her lips and she continued to stare at me with those blood red eyes. I sat down. I wasn't afraid. I just wanted to help her.
She quickly flicked her arm out and the door slam shut. Darkness.
I heard her jump down and scurried off somewhere. I listen to the sound of her boots and I knew she was near me.
"Amnesia?" I whispered and then there was silence. Dead silence. I looked around, only darkness staring back at me.
"Kry? Where are you?"
I faced behind me and I made contact with those red eyes. I screamed and she giggled crazily, jumping like a gorrilla.
"Stop that, Kry!"
Nothing.
The darkness engulfed my version and I made sure I had my eyes open. I did.
I stood up and felt the space around me. I was trying to find something. A window or something. I stopped and reached out to touch a nose.Heavy breathing came from below it and I quickly pulled my hand away.
"Kry?"
I heard another giggle and she scurried off again. I sighed and I finally felt a window. I sighed, relieved and I pushed it open. Light poured in and the room was somewhat lite up. There in the middle of the room, stood Kry. Her hair was in her face and she had her head bowed down. Her fingers twitched and she whispered some words in a strange language.
"RE LA SUME ME YAAAAAAAHHHHH." She yelled. Her head shot up and she let out a horrible scream. I winced, covering my ears. The scream lasted two minutes and when she finished, she giggled and climbed up the walls. I stared at her, carefully. She was at her full transformation.
"Kry! Calm it!" I yelled. She laughed and crawled on the ceiling. "500 years..." I whispered, ploping down. She rocked back and worth, her hair still in her face. "Maybe.. you hid here for a reason. But why? Why haven't they destroy this place?"
