KATNISS POV
Currently, I'm at my house with all my friends playing truth or dare. My mom is away on a business trip so we thought it would be a perfect time.
"Dare-" But Finnick was cut off by the doorbell.
"I'll get it!" I said, getting up. Wondering who was at the door.
When I finally open the door... I heart stops it's the one person I didn't want to see. Gale, he pushes me aside and then screams at all the boys (Finnick and Peeta) then I run up to him and say...
"What's your problem? " I asked, angrily.
"You should know my problem Catnip, you hanging out with other boys! Are you cheating on me?" He asks, knowing in not. He just dumb, and loves making me look bad.
I don't even have time to speak, he slaps me hard and I begin to fall and brace for the impact it never comes. I fall into warm and strong arms. I open my eyes and see Peeta had caught me.
Just when he puts me down and steady me on my feet, Gale runs up and tackles Peeta to the ground. Their bodies go down with a loud thud.
He starts punching Peeta, as he grunts in pain. Gale finally gets off Peeta, looking to me, not meeting my eyes.
Peeta stands up slowly with his nose bleeding all over his Navy Blue v neck shirt. I look at Gale and see him looking at me mad with rage in his eyes, I can finally see the emotion in them and I don't think that is a good thing. Then I do something that I should have done a long time ago. I'm going to break up with Gale. If he tries to kill me Finnick and Peeta will save me... I hope. This will change my life forever and hopefully make it better.
