~One~

"Bye mama!" I called as Ino and I walked out of our mother's shop. Ino and I turned and saw Sakura staring at us.

"Good morning, Sakura." Ino said as I crossed my arms.

"Skaura." I nod as I pushed my blonde hair from my face, allowing my blue eyes to stare at Sakura.

"Good Morning Ino, Kazu." I nod. Sakura started towards us and the three of us started walking to school together.

"So they actually let you graduate? What a surprise." Ino said as we walked towards the academy.

"Those classes are ancient history." Sakura told us as I fixed my headband. I chose to wear it around my right wrist. I didn't want it to clash with my hair and it wouldn't look good on my arm or leg, so I chose the wrist. I was dressed in my black sandles, a pair of black short that were folded at the ends and went to my mid thighs, I also had a black tank top that had brown straps resting on my shoulders and thicker white straps that rested off my shoulders. My hair was down in it's usual style and I was ready for today.

"We're all ninja now and we're all equal." Sakura carried on talking.

"No we're not." I told her, causing them both to look at me. "There's different levels of being a ninja, Sakura and that only means that we have to work hard to get farther as ninja. We have a long way to go before we're equal."

"I won't loose to you anymore." Sakura said to Ino and I. I never really had an opinion on Sakura. Her and Ino were once friends until they both fell for Sasuke. I personally find him boring, who would want a guy that everyone else wants. Anyways since then the two have been rivals and for some reason Sakura thinks I care and therefore she's determined to beat me too.

I personally think the two can be a bit obsessed with Sasuke and competition between themselves. I looked back over at my sister and Sakura to see they were both trying to get ahead of each other. I simply sighed and watched as soon they were racing each other to the academy. "Well there they go. Neither can just take a nice walk." I mumbled before I started for the academy a bit more quicker.

I arrived at the academy in time to see Sasuke and Naruto kissing. I bit my lip to keep from laughing. "What on earth is going on?" I laughed as I saw the both start gagging.

"Naruto was staring at Sasuke and Shikamaru bumped Naruto right into Sasuke and well....." I didn't know the student, but I gave her a smile of thanks before moving up the rows.

"Huh, they are vicious." Some kid in front of Naruto said.

"Naruto, you are so dead." I heard Sakura say in an angry voice.

"Hey, whoa. it was an accident." I sat beside Hinata as the girls started hitting him.

"Hope you don't mind a guy with bruises, Hinata." Hinata looked at me and blushed.

"Hello, Kazu. Why are you late?" She asked in her quiet voice. Hinata and I are pretty much friends. Whenever we go to class we are always sitting next to. I'm the only one she doesn't stutter to when she talks to someone. I like to think it makes me special.

"My sister ran off again to beat Sakura here." I told her causing her to nod in understand. She knew I loved my sister, but when it came to Sasuke and Sakura I hated talking to Ino. Those were the two main topics she talks about and it is just boring to me. Those are the times I chose to just hang out with Hinata. It's what made Hinata and I become friends.

"Today you are all ninja." Iruka Sensei said as he now stood before us. I sat in the second row closest to the door in the farthest desk from the front. I sat with Hinata and another student. The desk to our right side sat Kiba and Akamaru, while Shino sat in the middle desk in the first row and Choji in the last desk in the first row. "To get here, you faced difficult trials and hardships." Iruka Sensei went onto say. "But that's nothing. What comes next will be far more difficult. Now you are only genin, first level ninja." In the third row and last table was Shikamaru and Ino along with another student and in front of them was Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke. "All the genin will be grouped into three men squads, except one squad which will have four. Each squad will be led by a jounin, an elite ninja."
