Paris' P.O.V.
I look down to the floor to see two pairs of shoes on the other side of my locker. I close my locker to see Zayden and Tony. I almost punch them both in the face. They should know better than to sneak up on me. In eighth grade Tony snuck up behind me and when I turned around I punched him. I didn't mean to, it's just a reflex.
"What have I told you guys about doing that?" I say placing my hand on my hip.
"Not to?" Tony replies.
"Exactly. Now, what do you want?" I ask, placing the camera around my neck. I'm in a hurry. Tonight is the dance and I need to get ready.
"What's the rush?" Zayden asks.
"The dance is tonight and I need to get ready," I reply. "What do you guys what?"
"Nothing," Tony says. "Just forgot the time I was supposed to be over at your house tomorrow to study."
Right. How could I forget? Earlier on Wednesday, I told Zoe, Tony, Brooklyn (though I wasn't sure if she was coming or not), and London to come over to my house so we can study for the Biology test we have on Monday. My eyes widen. I have to cook all the food and then study. In the same day. I don't even know who much food I need to make.
"Paris? Are you okay?" Zayden asks as he waves a hand in front of my face. I spaced out again. I do that a lot. I blink twice.
"I spaced out again, didn't I?" I ask. They nod. "Right. Um, be over at four. That's the time I said. Four in the afternoon." I hope I can get everything ready.
"Okay," Tony says.
"Um, hey," Vicky come up to us shyly. Zayden rolls his eyes and doesn't make eye contact.
"Hey, Vicky," I say slightly sarcastic.
"Well, we've got to go. See you later, Paris," Tony says.
"Bye," Zayden says to me
"Bye," I reply to him with a smile and they walk away. I look at Vicky as she sighs. "I have to go to. I guess I'll see you around." I walk away.
I head to my car and drive home. I have a snack and start to get ready. I take a shower and blow dry my hair. I change into my dress. My dress has a lime green skirt that goes to just below my mid thigh with a black top and thin lace long sleeves. I put on a pair of black pumps that make me three inches taller than my regular 5'5" height. I curl my hair and put on my makeup. I only put on makeup in the weekends. I don't like wearing it for school, other than foundation, because of gym. I slip my phone into the pocket in my dress, place the camera around my neck, and head down stairs.
"Where do you think you are going dressed like that?" I hear a familiar voice say as I walk passed the living room. I look over and see two guys in the living room watching Teen Titains.
"Mateo? Sebastian? What are you guys doing here?" I ask them.
"Watching T.V., obviously," Sebation says. He's fourteen. He's like a little brother. Annoying but adorable. I'm an only child, but they're like my brothers. They're always there for me. It's too bad I don't have any female cousins. At least I don't think so. My step-dad's family isn't very close and I never really knew my real dad's family.
"Now, where are you going?" Mateo asks again.
"To the school dance," I reply. I find it weird that they are here since it's Friday and it's not family game night. I frown at Mateo and look down at my outfit. "Do I not look good?" Like I said, I don't really go to school dances, so I don't know.
"No, you look pretty. I was just wondering where you were going, especially with a camera," Mateo says.
"Who are you going with?" Sebastian says.
