She Has Changed

Chapter 1

A blue hedgehog was standing at the edge of the ship waiting to arrive to Earth. He had left 5 years ago when he found out Eggman was trying to take over the universe. That blue hedgehog was no other than Sonic. He hasn't changed much, but his quills grew a few inches and he was taller than before. Only about 3 inches. He couldn't wait to see his friends again...after not seeing them for 5 years he has a lot to talk about.

While lost in his thoughts the ship came closer to earth and entered its atmosphere, illuminating flashed of fire as it descended into the earth below. As it landed, Sonic got ready to leave this ship that he has been staying on for what seemed like forever.

Soon Sonic was off the ship and running off towards the streets. He stopped right when he saw a taxi, heading his way.

"To Station Square please?" he directed the driver.

The taxi driver's eyes widened as he looked in the rear mirror. "A-a-a-are you S-sonic the H-hedgehog?!" He stuttered.

The driver drove off, the image of the coast being shielded from view.

Sonic chuckled, "Yes, Yes I am."

"You missed out on a lot." he stated and as if on cue Station square emerged from behind the trees. Sonic gaped at it in awe.

Stations square was 5 times as large as it was before!

Before he knew it, the taxi pulled up by the side of the road and Sonic got out. He thanked the driver, gave him a tip and made his way into the city, taking in its beauty. He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw a familiar face walking down the sidewalk. It was an orange two-tailed fox.

"Tails!" Sonic screamed.

The figure stopped, "Sonic?...SONIC!!"

Tails ran toward his old friend, but for Sonic's speed he didn't have to run far, "Hey Lil bro!"

"Hey Sonic!" the kitsune replied.

As they pulled back from the hug, Sonic took a minute to take in the difference from before on the fox.

"Wow you have changed a lot Lil bro!" he smiled. In fact Tails did change a lot, he had grown 4 inches and his voice got deeper.

"Where are the others?" Sonic questioned.

"Down at Emerald coast." he answered.

"To emerald coast!" with that Sonic bolted off to emerald coast with Tails flying behind.

Once they got there Sonic was immediately dog piled by his friends Shadow, Knuckles, and Silver.

"Uhh guys I can't breathe!" Sonic said out of breath.

"Oh sorry man" Shadow said, "Silver can you get off me?"

"No you guys are warm, like muffins. :D" Silver said lazily cuddling into knuckles' back.

"Hey no really get off!" Knuckles announced a little annoyed. They all got out of the dog pile then Sonic noticed how much they have changed also. He also noticed something else was different, "Hey do you guys know where the girls are?" Sonic questioned.

"Oh, they had to leave because Topaz called them out on a mission because a some gang was robbing the bank." Shadow answered.

"Don't you think that is a little dangerous for them to do that?!" Sonic said a little worried, everyone stared at him a little dazed with amusement in their eyes.

"Yeah right..." Knuckles rolled his eyes, "They are strongest female fighters in emerald coast. They will be fine."

"Well if you say so..."

"Giuzzz! It's already 4:00! Let's party!" Silver shouted, raising his fist in the air. The others laughed and agreed.

They spent the rest of the party swimming, telling each other jokes, and playing volleyball. It wasn't until 6:30 when the girls arrived back. Rouge and Cream emerged over the horizon, except for Blaze and Amy. Rouge was wearing a black tank top that exposed her lower torso and blue shorts. Cream was wearing an orange skin tight shirt and black shorts.

Cream ran up to Sonic and gave him a hug "Mr. Sonic, welcome home!!"

"Hey Cream!" he hugged her back tightly, chuckling slightly. Then she pulled away so that Rouge could greet him.

Rouge then strutted up to him and gave him a hand shake, "Welcome back, blue boy."

Then she left and walked over to Knuckles. He noticed Tails had his arms wrapped around Cream's waist and he gave Tails a look. Tails gulped and Sonic smiled and winked at him, as if saying he was proud of him.

"Where are Blaze and Amy?" Sonic asked, looking around for them.

"They went to get some 'Extra training'" Rouge said putting up her hand in quotes.

"Oh...okay" Sonic said. They continued playing volleyball, but Sonic's mind only kept drifting back to thinking about what he missed. His friends have changed so much. It's like they are completely new people.

30 minuets later he saw two familiar faces emerging from the horizon...and what he saw made his jaw drop.
