She Has Changed

Chapter 3

(Emerald coast that evening Normal POV)

They were now finished thier picnic and now were ready to go home.

"Hey guys there is one problem..." Sonic started,"I dont have a place to stay overnight."

"Oh sorry about that..." Tails said "you can stay at my place, it will be fun!"

"Thanks lil bro!" Sonic exclaimed. They then said goodbye to the others and left for Tails's house.

"Hey can I talk to you about something?" Sonic said.

"Sure anything, I mean I am your brother...well kinda anyways!"

"Okay, well, when I saw Amy today...Somthing was diferent. L this feeling I had. It was strange, but it felt good. In a way. You know what I am talking about?"

Tails laughed witch caught Sonic off guard, "I know exactly what you are feeling...I feel it all the time around Cream."

"You do? well what is it?"

Tails laughed again, "Its love silly! I can't believe Sonic The Hedgehog doesn't know what love feels like!"

"No, I don't love her!...she is my friend and will be nothing more!"

"That is exactly what everyone says at first. They deny it..." Sonic thought a bit...'Do I really love her? No it can't be...but she did look beautiful today...UGH!!' Sonic shook the thought out of his mind and looked towards Tails "Lets go to bed I have too many thing on my mind."

He picked up tails and headed towards his workshop at almost full speed. He got there in 10 seconds and then let Tails down. Tails was the first to head in. "Well I know you have been in here before so you know where the guest room is."

Sonic nodded and headed towards the back of the hallway. It felt good to be back home, knowing the familiar places. Once he got to the guest bedroom, he remembered his suitcase was still on the beach.

He quickly sped out the door at full speed towards the beach. He got here in a matter of seconds and found his suitcase beside the picnic table. Placing it over his shoulder, he noticed something else behind him. Sonic turned to see a pink hedgehog still at the shore line. He nervously walked up behind her not making a noise then stood behind her, watching her hair flow in the wind. Sonic tapped her on the shoulder causing her to jump and roundhouse kick him.

(Sonic POV)

I fell down and landed with a 'thud'.

"OW!" I yelped in pain.

Amy knelt next to me "Oh I am sorry its just that you scared me and I-I am sorry!"

"I guess its okay." I muttered. "What are you still doing out here by yourself?"

"Oh just admiring the beauty!"

"Yeah you are so bea-AHHH!!"

"What?"

"Oh nothing..." I started to blush again, "well its getting late so ill take you home."

"Okay." I then scooped her up with my suitcase and ran to her pink house. Running at half my speed, I made it to her house.

"Thanks Sonic." she walked in through the door while I just watched, a little dreamily. She turned around and gave me a kiss on the cheek before the door closed. I blushed again and started to run back. 'Again with the blushing!'

I arrived at the Tails's house and went to the guest bedroom. I got dressed into my night wear and fell on the bed and drifted into my thoughts again. 'Is Tails right?!...I mean he is a genius but he can be a total idiot sometimes. At the beach today, Amy did look beautiful. But I dont think I can except that I might care about her more than a friend...I just got to go to sleep to get my mind off of things'

The next thing I knew I was off to sleep, dreaming about Amy.

Wow two chapters in one day!! yahooo!! lol so anywayyyysss...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! yeahhh and i know i was rushing through the end its just I needed to go and celebrate the new year with my family! yayay! so i hope you enjoy the story and the new year! and peace out!
